Cumber is a character from a book called Dragoncharm. A book which no one has ever heard of before.
If you’ve ever been fortunate enough to have had the love and devotion of a good dog, then you’ll know how I got my screen name <g>. No big mystery there. Though Roman was a retired racing greyhound whose official racing name was Ragnar, after the character in Atlas Shrugged, which I found interesting.
I sent in 20 Lucky Charms cereal boxtops and a quarter. They sent my handle back Fed Express. I’m so proud.
It’s also a character from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Usagi Yojimbo. In all honesty, that’s where I thought you’d picked it up. Mine is because I’m a superhero. I was gonna be Superman, but he has better lawyers than I do.
There’s a band called “My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult”, (or they were a band, I don’t keep up with them anymore) and it was kind of a dance-y, trash glamour band. There biggest hit was “Sex on Wheelz” that made it onto a couple of movie soundtracks. They were never ever a favorite of mine, but I kept going to concert after concert with my brother and husband who were big fans.
So, there was a chick in the band named “Kitty KillDare”. I liked the sound of it; my first name is Katie, but I supect everyone must secretly think that I don’t know how to correctly spell “Kildare” as in “Kildare, Ireland”.
I saw one on a pump and just took it.
