Fuck you. My next door neighbor was in Vietnam. Both of my grandfather served in WWII (although, to be fair, neither was actually in combat-one was a mechanic, the other was a driver for a general). I have uncles that served in Korea.
One of the reasons I am so against this war is BECAUSE of the troops. No, there wasn’t a draft this time around, but that doesn’t mean they should give their lives up for a pointless, wrong war.
