Where's the one place all of us have been?

The Science and Industry Museum in Chicago!!!
Any dopers who Haven’t been there, should go!
…so there.

What if we break this into the continents? That is, if the USA (maybe North American?) Dopers locate the USA/North America place that fits, the European/Asian Dopers the same sort of thing, African Dopers another, Australian Dopers another, South American Dopers still another, and the remainder still another.

Those fortunate enough to have crossed continental boundaries could help find the common ground for others who share the world traveler distinction, etc.

I suspect that if we eliminate the Dopers who have never left their home state/country, there may be some common ground for the rest of us in the zones mentioned.

Is that a more realistic shot at the OP’s goal?

That sounds good, Zeldar.

That OP guy was a real wanker…

I mean, come on! ONE place where ALL of us have gone?! Whee!

Might as well ask about Chuck Berry songs…
:dubious:

Maybe it’s Memphis after all, NoClueBoy. Or Kansas City, even though I have yet to make it there. I’d bet on some place in the more or less middle of the country. Memphis, St. Louis, Chicago, New Orleans all fit that bill.

How many Chuck Berry songs talk about places after all?

Apparently I’m your alter ego. Two people, never seen in the same place at the same time. I wear a Superman cape sometimes; what’s your costume look like?

For another interesting match, I have also been on the whaler ship in SF, and I have barked at the sea lions at Pier 39.

Sorry, got my numbers wrong. The pier numbers get larger as they go west and south don’t they? The sea lions hang out at Pier 43.

Did you go to that russian store/booth? I bought some cosmonaut/Soviet Space program souveniers there.

The sea lions were disappointing. They didn’t show any pride. Also, they stunk quite a bit.

my costume has a twelve foot long scarf and a large coat with deep pocketses.

oh wait, the sirloin stockade i was in was in sioux FALLS south dakota, not sioux CITY iowa

Well, since it’s the busiest international airport, I’d guess Heathrow Airport would be the place a random person in the world was most likely to have been.
