Which cancelled or defunct TV series do you miss most?

Is it too late to mention Duckman? One of my favourite cartoons, FWIW…

Duckman was fantastic but it ran too long - some of the episodes in the later series showed a distinctive lack of steam which, IMHO, took away from the brilliance of the earlier series. Another show you can’t get on DVD.

I’d like to see Stargate SG-1 and Quincy come back.

Yep. I hope the execs who pulled the plug spend eternity looking up Judas Iscariot’s ass.

Add me to the fans who want more
MST3K
Daria
My So-Called Life

And my two favorite shows, neither of which have been mentioned yet
That 70s Show
Fawlty Towers

Well I’ll add another mention of Firefly and Dead Like Me to the mix. Two great shows that I miss terribly. Also screw Fox for cancelling Drive after four episodes.

Last year I borrowed all the seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer from a friend. I’d never seen it before. And when I finished the last episode of the last season, I felt empty. I think I accomplished 0% productivity during the time period where I was watching the show. I haven’t watched Angel yet, and while my friend hates it I think I still might enjoy it. But I don’t have an easy way to pick up all five seasons.

I’m not surprised, though, that I’m the first person in three pages to mention the show Titus. I think it was one of the best “sitcoms” I’ve ever seen, although I think it’s a bit strange for a sitcom. Three seasons was great, but I would have preferred many, many more.

I’m also in perpetual fear that How I Met Your Mother is going to be canceled and become a show that was cut off too soon. But since it looks good for a fourth season, I think I can stop living in fear.
