Which cartoon series do you love most from your childhood?

sorry, I guess it was cartoons, I am stupid, forgive me

Actually there was a dukes of hazard cartoon for a while…

It was a wacky racers style of race between bo and luke boss hogg and roscoe in a round the world race to save the farm
Theyed have uncle jesse narrate it flashback style In the early to mid 80s If there was a live action show that appealed to kids o they made a cartoon version or had things like the “gary coleman show”

On saturday mornings I perfered either abc or nbc (usually the latter ) I almost never watched cbs cartoons except for popeye saturday supercade and pole position and the previously mentioned doh cartoon

on afternoons I watched transformers g.i joe ducktales and the original double dare

Then iIn the 90s I watched the fox afternoon series usually

I like the newer cartoons ie he man ect over the old versions but why did they turn transformers into a generic anime cartoon with robots ?

I’d hate to see what theyed do to g.i joe …

It wasn’t my favorite, but I am looking for confirmation that this cartoon at least existed at some point…

Does anyone remember ** The Biscuits ** ?

It was a show that was fairly similar to the Gummi Bears, save that the little medieaval critters were puppy dogs.

I swear I remember this show, but I have searched the web and have found nothing about it, and no one ever seems to remember it existing!

Please tell me I’m not crazy…

Oh, so as not to be a total hijack, my favorites would be:

Transformers
Robotech
GI Joe
The Gummi Bears
The Real Ghostbusters (pre-Slimer)
Darkwing Duck
Duck Tales
Tale Spin
Chip and Dale, Rescue Rangers
Dragonslayer
Dungeons and Dragons
He-Man
Cities of Gold

Has to be Transformers and G.I. Joe. Hey Rhino, where’s our G.I. Joe season DVDs?

My idol was Cool McCool.

I loved Wacky Races. I drew their cars all the damn time.

The Archies and the Groovy Ghoulies, loved that shit.
Frankie lines up to the tee to take a swing at golf.
THREE!
Wolfie: Frankie man, you’re supposed to say FORE!
Frankie: I can’t count that high.

and the stupidest kid TV show ever, of course my favorite, was Uncle Crock’s Block.

Welcome to Uncle Crock’s Block
The greatest show there is or my name’s not Crock
Funny people, man we got 'em
Just wait till you meet old Bottle Bottom

CUT! That’s Jasper Bitterbottom, you CRAZY CROCODILE!

No other Pink Panther fans out there?

That aardvark cracked me up.

I remember how pissed I was the season they scheduled Pink Panther at the same time as Bugs Bunny.

Or when they cut Bugs down from an hour to 30 min.

The old Scooby Doo Where Are You cartoons with the groovy 60’s songs. Damn you Scrappy Do. Damn you to hell!

Ah Chip & Dale’s rescue Rangers.
With Gadget Hackwrench. Got to mention Gadget.

Your not crazy.

Go here.

When I was a bit older I LOVED (and still would if it was still on the air), REN AND STIMPY!!!

I also loved Rocko’s Modern Life.

I don’t know…
he had a monkey.

Actually didnt they have a tarzan/zorro hour at one point on cbs?

Be careful what you wish for. They’ve been showing G.I. Joe on Cartoon Network at around 1:00 AM lately. Granted, I was never a fan even when I was younger, but I didn’t remember just how bad it really was.

And I’m sure I’ll get criticized for being homophobic here, but I don’t know how else to describe it. I definitely don’t remember the show being so gay. Like, gayer than He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, even. Not judging, just observing… observing the shirtless, mustachioed men patting each other in all kinds of places, and the identical twin Eurotrash villains of ambiguous sexuality finishing each other’s sentences and helping each other with their wardrobe.

Second.

This thread may be relatively young, but no one has mentioned the best ones yet (well, Gummi Bears and Duck Tales were). Here are some more obscure ones:

C.O.P.S.-“Fighting crime in the future” Anyone else remember this one? Set in the year 2023 or something like that, the main police force was headed by a guy named Bullet Proof Vess, and each police officer had a specialty (one had a robotic K9 unit). The criminals were Dr Bad Vibes (you could see his brain through a glass top on his skull) Ms. Demeanor, Nightshade (she was sooo sexy…think Catherine Zeta-Jones’ character in Entrapment) and they were all headed by a fat guy named Big Boss. Great cartoon.

Denver the Lost Dinosaur-Sort of a Bill and Teds meets Alf. I don’t remember the details about it, just that I liked it a lot.

Galaxy High-Some highschool set on a planet in another galaxy. Main character was a human and the supporting cast came in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

MASK-Sort of a cross between Go Bots and GI Joe. “Secret raiders, mask crusaders”

Captain Caveman-Somewhat of a Flintstones spinoff.

Muppet Babies-No explanation needed

And of course, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
I agree with another poster that to go back and watch these shows as an adult tends to ruin them a bit. They don’t entertain like they used to (which is a good thing…who wants to say they havent mentally progressed past age 7?). Best left to reminiscing only.
