Which Character Would You Give A Spin Off Show To?

Yes, yes, a thousand times yes!

Great Moments in Law Enforcement History with Albert Rosenfield.

Egon Spengler, specifically as portrayed by Harold Ramis in the Ghostbusters movie.

I haven’t seen it yet but I’m pretty sure this is covered in The Plan.

Nah - give Leonard his own show, and then Big Bang will be perfect. Let Penny teach Raj to talk to women sober.

From what I read, this very idea was actually considered soon after Rose was written out. But it got nixed as it was felt it would detract from the emotional impact of their final goodbye scene in “Doomsday.” IMO, this was eventually proved to be the right decision when they did bring back Rose and give her a happy ending. Rose came back, got a human Doctor she could have babies & grow old with, and the pathos from her first departure got sucked right out. Anyway, Billie Piper has moved onto other, some might say better roles, playing un-apologetically slutty call girls.

Perhaps the PTB at “Who” could swipe a page from the Battlestar: Galactica playbook and do a ‘prequel’ series called “Time Wars.” That way, we’d get to see the eighth Doctor Paul McGann in action a little bit more.
As for other series, I would have liked to have seen a “Simpsons” spin-off featuring Apu & Manjula and their eight kids. As time went on and the series played out the usual regulars, Apu really became my favorite secondary character. Manjula was a good tertiary character as well. Being a store manager at a Kwik-e-Mart could serve as an easy reason to get them out of Springfield (Apu could easily be transferred to another store elsewhere), or hell - maybe they get a reality TV show depicting their lives a la “Jon & Kate.” That’s satirical gold right there!

The Janitor and Ted the lawyer from “Scrubs.” They move in togetherand adobt a kid. It’s called “Legal Custodians.”…get it?

Youtube Link for those confused.

Mitchell and Cam from ‘modern family’

that is all.

*I’ll be in mah’ bunk

The Ghostfacers from Supernatural could make for a very entertaining spinoff. I think - overexposure might run the joke (if you’re not familiar, they’re pretty much a parody of all of those Ghost Hunters-types on A&E) into the ground, but I’d give it a shot. They already have an intro sequence, even!

I’ve heard rumors of some Ghostfacers webisodes being in the works, but nothing concrete as yet.

I second or third the Niles Crane show.
It’s too late now, but a show based on Mr Spock’s earlier life or life post the 5 year mission (and before the movies) would have been interesting.

Hawkeye Pierce Goes Home?
I was always curious as to Alice the housekeeper’s personal life… (Alice and Sam?)

Amanda and Mark from Ugly Betty, I’d seriously watch that.

Seconded! (or thirded, whatever).

Margaret Houlihan from MASH*.

Zap Branagan from Futurama.

I’d watch it.

I would love to have a show portraying Jerry Stiller as both Seinfeld’s Frank Cazanta and the King of Queen’s Arthur Spooner, showing the hillarity of one person trying to live a double life.

That would be awesome.

Fuck 3D HDTV, I want trans-dimensional TV!

I’d watch The Red & Kitty Show. They were, by far, the best part of That 70s Show, IMHO.

In my own personal canon they are best friends, undoubtedly, so I’m all about this. There can be occasional cameo phone calls and visits from BAU and NCIS folks. (Of course, in my personal canon, I think Garcia would make an excellent non-redhead, non-bimbo wife for Gibbs, but that’s a whole other story.)

Didn’t she go into law enforcement in south Florida?

Back in Cam’s hometown in podunk Missouri, the adventures of two gay dads in middle America. I’d be there with bells on.

Looks like they’re trying to work something out for themselves. They’re doing a cabaret show this Sunday in NYC that I’d love to attend.

I nth the suggestion of the Niles & Daphne show. I’d also love to see The Ex-Presidents, a West Wing spinoff where each episode in turn features one of the canonical ex-presidents from the show, Bartlet, Newman, Walken and eventually, Santos.

Freema Agyeman was the Dr. Who sidekick (sorry, ‘companion’) for a series. I’d like her to get her own show. Preferably, each episode would consist of two hours of steady camerawork just looking at Frema Agyeman. Perhaps she could walk or talk a bit as well, but there’d be no need to burden the show with irrelevant trivia such as characters, plot, dialogue and so on. I even have a snappy title for the show. It could be called, ‘Two More Hours That Will Enrich Your Life In Every Conceivabe Way And Somehow Make It All Seem Worthwhile’.

I’d love to see The Darlene and David Show. I loved Roseanne and I think that Darlene was the best character on the show. I would have been glad to see what happened with her and the baby after Roseanne went off the air.
