Which fast food items still taste the same as they used to, let's say 20 years ago or longer?

So did I - and as far as I can tell the US menu has changed since then. They don’t seem to have a Teenburger or a Mama Burger anymore , although they are on the menu in Canada

I tried one recently for the first time in quite a few years. I thought it tasted basically the same, but sure looked smaller than I remembered.

Our local A&W has announced they’ll be opening for the season on March 16. Me and the wife like root beer floats and try to stop in every year.

Usually just once.

Sorry.

I just wanted to let you know that this little comment has changed our weekend breakfasts greatly for the better. My wife keeps kosher, so she wouldn’t eat a regular Sausage McMuffin. Your suggestion of making one at home set off the proverbial light bulb.

Some time ago I had bought a package of Impossible (plant-based) breakfast sausage, and hadn’t thought how to use it. After reading your post I tried using it in a sausage egg muffin sandwich, and it turned out great. She loved it, too.

At first I simply scrambled the egg and folded it onto the sandwich, but then I bought some egg rings and learned the trick of dropping the egg, unscrambled, into the ring, breaking the yolk, then pouring a little water into the frying pan, outside the ring, and covering the pan. This yields a perfectly sized and cooked egg disk.

Although they’re a little too time-consuming for weekday mornings, we’ve enjoyed them for breakfast almost every weekend for the past two months.

Thanks!

Dominos has gotten better. And Little Caesars basic pizza is really bad, but the deep dish is surprisingly good.

Yes, if you can eat the crust at the edge after all the toppings and sauces are devoured, , then that’s good crust.

Yep, the old gravy was great!

Here’s his quote about the new gravy-My God, that gravy is horrible. They buy tap water for 15 to 20 cents a thousand gallons and then they mix it with flour and starch and end up with pure wallpaper paste. And I know wallpaper paste, by God, because I’ve seen my mother make it. … There’s no nutrition in it and they ought not to be allowed to sell it.

But Col Sanders was made a Kentucky Colonel.

You would have loved it when Walmart at one time sold egg “patties” in frozen section
