Have you ever had a See’s filled chocolate egg?
Flag Day? Seriously, Flag Day???
I voted XMas. Most holidays have gobs of mass-produced stuff, but the higher-end stuff tends to be better at XMas.
Easter.
For starters, Easter candy is only available for a short while.
Well, “short while” in comparison to Christmas crap. Honestly, you barely recover from the pumpkin pie coma at T-Day, and then you are assaulted with Christmas. And Christmas tradition demands that you have to bake goodies and make candies and give them away (with leftovers at home to gorge), and everyone around you gives you Christmas goodies at work, comes by your house to shove Christmas goodies at you, and if you aren’t home, they LEAVE THE FREAKIN’ STUFF ON THE FRONT PORCH!
Yeah, Easter.
Easter also has those malt balls shaped like little eggs, that turn your lips white when you eat them. I think they call 'em “robin’s eggs.”

I voted Christmas because its the only time most people make their own candy. Fudge, Divinity, dipped chocolate candies yum!!!
Easter. Definitely Easter.
Cadbury Cream Eggs. Cadbury milk chocolate eggs with the candy shells that you can let slowly melt on your mouth until the shell is soooooooo thin you can crack it with your tongue and let the nice warm chocolate melt all over…
Oh baby.
Plus - the spun sugar eggs with all the little tiny ducks and chicks and flowers are purty. And sugar.
I think people are expanding the definition of “candy” for Christmas. Personally, I don’t count fudge or other baked goods such as cookies as candy.
