1. What’s your favorite Easter candy?
The Reese’s peanut butter cups that are shaped like eggs. I don’t understand how regular Reese’s cups are say, 100 units of tasty goodness, and the egg-shaped ones are like a 100 units x a bajillion of tasty goodness. Life is full of amazing mysteries.
2. What Easter candy do you hate?
Peeps, ultra gross. For an unknown reason, I try one every few years to see if somehow I like them now, which has never happened.
3. a. Do you have kids?
b. If not, do you buy candy for yourself?
No kids, and my mom still buys Easter candy for me so I don’t have to buy it for myself. I will pick up the Reese’s eggs when they have them at the checkout counter.
**
4. a. Do you get a Chocolate Bunny?
b. Where do you start eating it? Ears, tail, or other?**
When I do, I start with the tail. However, my mom (see #3) has this thing for trying to find unusual chocolate shapes, so it’s more likely I’d get a chocolate rhino or something like that.
-
Any good chocolate. You can’t go wrong.
-
Peeps. Why do they even have these things? This is sugar that could have been used for good.
-
a. No.
b. Never had before but I did this year. I was taken in by the supermarket display. That and I just bought stuff for my mother.
4.Apparently. Part of the reason I thought I should get something for mom (Happy Easter mom!)
b. tail. I like to save the head for last (heh heh heh).
- What’s your favorite Easter candy?
White chocolate. If they would only make a white chocolate bunny…
- What Easter candy do you hate?
Well, I really will only eat one Peep a year, but I don’t hate them. I don’t like the big Cadbury creme eggs (way too much chocolate, and I actually don’t like brown chocolate that much) but I found mini eggs this year which are good.
- a. Do you have kids?
Dear god no.
b. If not, do you buy candy for yourself?
Sometimes. This year the SO will be out of town until Sunday night so I’m thinking of actually making a real Easter basket.
-
a. Do you get a Chocolate Bunny?
Nope, but this year someone gave it to me as a gift.b. Where do you start eating it? Ears, tail, or other?
Ears.
If I celebrate Easter at all it’s more in my mind the pagan idea of spring anyway - which is what the bunnies and eggs are all about!
-
What’s your favorite Easter candy?
Cadbury Mini Eggs -
What Easter candy do you hate?
Peeps are right up there -
a. Do you have kids?

b. If not, do you buy candy for yourself?
Answering this anyway, because I buy candy for myself and dig into my stash well before my son gets his. I buy one bunny for myself, then stock up when everything is on sale to munch or make into cookies.
- a. Do you get a Chocolate Bunny?
Yes, a dark chocolate one. Yum!
b. Where do you start eating it? Ears, tail, or other?
Ears, and gnaw my way down.
I love peeps, They’re like marshmallows with a crunchy sugary crust. Can’t stand cadbury eggs.
I like those too but did you ever notice the price of those things? They’re smaller than the regular Reese’s PB cups sold in the candy aisle but cost twice the price. Special issue Easter model, I suppose.

Brendon
- What’s your favorite Easter candy?
This is a tie between Peeps (yellow only and preferably stale) and Cadbury Creme Eggs (I prefer the minis because the big ones have too much chocolate)
-

These ** -
a. Do you have kids?
Nope.
b. If not, do you buy candy for yourself?
Of course. If I’m lucky I can get my first batch of peeps or Cadbury eggs around my birthday in January. If I’m not lucky, I’ll get them around Valentines day. -
a. Do you get a Chocolate Bunny?
Rarely.
b. Where do you start eating it? Ears, tail, or other?
Well, the first thing to come off is the bow but I don’t eat it. I start right at the stomach. Then I eat the legs and the face. The ears and feet will usually be given to someone else. The chocolate is too thick at those parts and I don’t like that much chocolate. I will never eat a solid bunny.
*** These things are vile. The marshmallow is hard and the candy covering tastes like wax. My mom is in love with them. In the last month, I have taken my mom to upstate New York twice. I have spent over 25 hours in the car with her and she eats them off and on through the whole trip. She also keeps stashing these things in my car so that she always has them. I keep finding them. Ugh. I’d rather eat circus peanuts.
-
Cadbury Creme Eggs. The caramel ones are good too.

Peeps are the most disgusting excuse for a food I have ever tasted in my life! <gag>

b. I used to feel really sorry for the bunnies and it would take me forever to eat them. But when I finally did, I broke their heads off in one piece. It dehumanized (debunnyized?) them so it was easier to eat them.
1. What’s your favorite Easter candy?
Well, I can’t get it here, but my all-time favourite is **THE CADBURY GREAT BUNNY! ** OoooooooooOOOOOooooooOoooh! But until then, I munch mostly on Mini Eggs and Creme Eggs.

- What’s your favorite Easter candy?
Robins’ eggs – essentially egg-shaped malted-milk balls with a crunchy candy shell. The blue ones are best, because you can twirl them against your puckered lips and make yourself look cyanotic.
I have a sentimental attachment to Peeps, because my childhood nickname (which my sisters still use) is Peep.
- What Easter candy do you hate?
Spice-flavored jelly beans.
- a. Do you have kids?
Yes.
- a. Do you get a Chocolate Bunny?
My son is not a big chocolate eater, so bunnies are a waste.
I was in WV visiting my sister a few weeks ago and saw a fundie church with a sign out front advertising breakfast with the Easter bunny. We laughed our asses off at that one.
Slightly humorous anecdote: The wife and I happened to visit the US during Easter one year, and we brought back a load of Easter candy to show her family. The candy went over well, all except for the little yellow marshmallow chicks. They thought that was TOO bizarre and wouldn’t touch them. One aunt thought they looked downright evil.
4.b. Genitals
(Oh, you’re talking about actual chocolate bunnies?)
-

Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs. The big ones, that comes 6 to a pack. Not the smaller ones that come in bags; those are still good, but they don’t have the proper ratio of chocolate-to-peanut-butter. -

Ah! But they do!
The white chocolate bunnies exist, and most of the time I can find them at Hallmark stores(Odd, I know) or Walgreen’s or some such ilk. Hubster buys four this time every year and I freeze three for later enjoyment through the year. Russel Stover seem to be the brand most often bought.
