Funny, those are exactly the three I immediately went to. I think the iron is the worst of the worst.
Here’s an article with a photo of the new pieces. At first I thought it should be the Cat since there’s already a Dog, but after seeing them, the Helicopter is clearly the coolest one, so I vote for that.

All of the options for addition are too “now” for me. I always liked that the pieces themselves were fairly timeless, catering to no specific time period between 1925 and now.

Really? I hear “toy robot” and think 1950s or so, not modern day.
Edit: The photo definitely shows a vintage looking toy robot, not some modern remote controlled programmable thing.
Although typing that makes me think we should ditch the iron and replace it with a Roomba.

BTW, you are supposed for one you want to keep, not one you want to lose. But, as the OP asked I went with Thimble and Robot…because its a freaking thimble and a freaking robot.

The cannon doesn’t belong there. But those are the actual Monopoly pawns that we had. And yes, they’re different shapes in addition to being different colours.

True, and this invites tactical voting. There’s no point in voting for the dog, even if it’s your favorite piece, because there is no way in hell the dog is getting eliminated.
According to this story, dated Wednesday, the iron and wheelbarrow are bringing up the rear. So if you don’t like one, vote to save the other.

What’s that? You say there is no Train piece? Well, there was, but only if you had the super-cool-Anniversary edition of monopoly:
