Hitler, Nazi, alt-right? Hysterical left wing loon Bingo right there.
Yeah, guys, the Nazi comparisons are way over the top. It’s not like people are walking into synagogues and shooting the Jews inside.
So. Will you learn from this and stop getting your info from Dumb_rightwing_troll_posting _from_his_parents_garage.org ? Will you stop structuring your Google searches as “Reinforce the vile crap I want to believe” ?
Nah, I didn’t think so.
Or setting synagogues on fire and forming armed anti-immigration citizen militias to stop people from applying to legally immigrate…
I need to call this out as it is a good example of trying to establish “camaraderie of the accused”
An attempt to push a narrative that those who oppose them are out to silence those with centrist beliefs and is false.
Any claim that there is a central or coordinated “intent” for Antifa is coming from someone who is completely ignorant on what Antifa even is.
Even a lost cause can serve as a cautionary tale for the not-yet-addled youth flirting with the idea of becoming a low-information dipshit. Our only hope is to prevent bad seeds from taking root as the rotten fruit gradually dies on the vine.
I replied earlier in this thread to the effect that the synagogue shooter had obviously been inspired by documented right wing conspiracy theories and he apparently didn’t seem interested in rebutting the charge.
Conservatives want to just claim that they’re just conservatives, but they can’t stand it when someone points out that the meaning of conservatism has apparently changed from what it used to be. Conservative voters are more than just ignorant or single-issue voters - they know what they’re voting for, and they seem to have no problem with it.
I don’t mean that all conservatives are racists, antisemitic, or anti-whatever; they just don’t think it’s a big deal. It’s not a big deal if white politicians use racist tactics to deprive minorities of the right to vote or deprive asylum seekers of the right to seek asylum. It doesn’t affect conservatives, so it doesn’t matter. And unfortunately, I’m also seeing that it doesn’t necessarily matter to people who don’t even think of themselves as conservatives. I see it in independents as well. It’s indifference. It’s indifference that really puts authoritarian regimes over the top. It was indifference that allowed Nazism to rise, and it has allowed other awful things since.
:smack:
Sorry, you are right, it was the Hammonds, the ones who the Bundy takeover was supposed to be in honor of that were pardoned for their arson.
I forgot myself for a moment, and forgot that the Bundys were not pardoned, but instead they were somehow not found to be guilty of taking over the government facility that they took over.
Mea culpa on that, but I will still say that it counts as an endorsement.
You’re quite correct.
This isn’t a game.
This is about saving lives. It’s about saving the environment. It’s about the future. It’s about electing honest caring people to government. None of which Trump, or his administration cares about.
You do understand that, don’t you?
@ Magellan01 — No response? I’ll bet you’ll whimper in the corner, tail between legs, for a day or two, then come back posting more lies from Rightwing_Dolts_R_Us.ru. What do I win?
That’s a nice phrase. Too bad it doesn’t mean anything in this context.
I said they attacked the media, and I provided proof. How that hooks up with the weird nonsense in your head is your own business.
In every other part of political life, we’re happy to group entities which share aims and tactics into an entity, regardless of whether they explicitly coordinate. Antifa isn’t special here.
Alcohol fueled binges? Mob behavior? YOUR boy Kavanaugh already has that covered.
Keep in mind, Breitbart is that Nazi rag, which was run by that Nazi douchnozzle Steve “I look like a rotted potato” Bannon.
Just like they were too dispersed for ummm, it’s coming to me, uhhh CHARLOTTESVILLE.
She should have dropped him more often, and harder - or out a window.
Kinda of a big difference when it’s the state doing the killing, don’t you think?
So history isn’t your strong suit either.
Kristallnacht was carried out on 9–10 November 1938 by German civilians and “Brownshirts.” The Brownshirts were a private militia which had been formally disempowered by Adolf Hitler more than four years earlier (during die Nacht der langen Messer).
Please keep your insipid nonsense coming though — it’s good that sentient humans be reminded of how ignorant you Trumpists are.
What about when the government starts locking people up in camps? Should I be worried about that?
Luckily, that will never, ever happen here the good ol’ USA!
