Which set of cycling cothes looks better?

Briefly, which of these two kits do you feel looks better? Which jersey would you be more likely to buy, all other design considerations being equal?

Why?

Yellow and black?

Or gold, white, and grey?

The second, the gold white and grey. Because it looks less bumblebeeish.

My thoughts exactly.

Personally I’d go with the first one. I don’t like to have three different light colors; a strong contrast is better.

By the way, the first link doesn’t seem to work. All others work fine.

Thirding this sentiment.

Yellow and black. I also don’t like the combination of light colors, and the yellow and black isn’t striped excessively so I’m not getting a bumble bee vibe from it.

First set, much more simple and less cluttered

Grey is such a nothing colour, it looks like a failed silver to me.

Hmmmm, for the people that went for the yellow and black, do you think there’s a way to maintain that contrast while including white and grey in the kit?

What if we kind of “outlined” the yellow with black?

Thanks,

Four colors is difficult.

Usually three is a maximum, and you need at least one to be a “separator.” Unless you have an artist and time to specifically plan the lines, you’re going to either need to settle on Black + One Color or Black + Two colors if you want something that looks optimal. If you want both grey and white, I would just go for a very light silver, depending on the light it will appear grey or sheen white. So then you could do Black + Yellow + Light Silver.

Depends if you want to pick up men with handlebar moustaches. Both would be a turn on for them - but the Silver one will appeal more to their artistic side.

Personally, I avoid yellow anywhere, it seems to imply that I’m worthy of leading the Tour de France but thats just me, I don’t mind it in others.

Grey and yellow don’t go together. It’s like wearing silver and gold jewelry together.

Yellow and black is more contrasting and therefore better, in my opinion.

Do you have to choose between those two or do you have any other color options?

As a chick that hangs around track races, I say go with the black. The grey is pretty light-- not as bad as white, but remember that we’ll be able to tell which monotheistic western religion these guys belong to and whether they’re natural blondes with the light bottoms after a bit of exertion. Eww.
And the yellow and black makes me think fondly of Flanders.

Ha. I was gonna say ther first one anyway, but I like it even better now.

Relax, kids. The shorts have black lycra upon all of the critical regions. They’re just grey and yellow on the side panels.

I would go for the first set because I avoid grey while on the road. I want to be seen on my bike.
