Which "super-car" would you most like to own?

2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Shiny, pretty thing here. 0-60: 3.8 seconds. Top speed 208 mph. Price: $450,000+. Read the last line of the small print:

And the best part; it’s real. Wowza, I’m going to take a cold shower now.

This is my number one choice:

the Batmobile from any of the Batman’s

I like the one in Batman Begins.

2 choice:

KITT from Knight Rider

But since none of these exist, I’ll go with this:

any of the Bond cars

And make it the

It was my favorite sexy guy, Pierce Brosnan, who rolled around in the back of one with the little remote control device while steering it. If he comes with the package, so much the better!

Ditto the Vanquish. The XKR in that ice scene was pretty damn amazing as well.

BTW, did you know the Vanquish used in the filming of the Bond film was modified to be an all wheel drive (doesn’t come as an option from factory) and the V12 was removed and replace with a V8 to accomodate the AWD platform.

Don’t forget she’s also sentient.
AND has a perpetually-clean pair of restrooms in the back, with Oz-fresh air.
Of course, there would be the endless conversations with my passengers.

“No, I didn’t name her that!”

“It used to mean something different!”

“I KNOW that saying “Gay Bounce” and “Gay Home” all the time sounds weird! Don’t blame me, I didn’t program her!”

And of course, the whole question of where the hell did did I get a sentient universe-hopping car in the first place.

Dammit, this is the 21st Century. If it don’t fly, I don’t buy!

Obviously, the real answer to this is Supercar.

Oops. Clicked too soon.

Here is Supercar.

Can’t argue that’d be my first choice… But I’m ashamed it wasn’t the first car I thought of…

My second choice (and first car I thought of) would be the one from The Last Star Fighter.

It flys, travels into space, and has it’s own warp drive.

I am trying to remember now, was she programmed originally in Loglan and then moved to a voice unit?

I think I’ll have to go with KITT, because I can fall asleep at the wheel and it would make no difference.

If I slap a hood ornament onto its hull, does the Starship Enterprise count?

Just to be clear, I want the non-Bondified Aston Martins. I know the OP probably wants to know which cars ‘as they appeared/worked in the films’ that we’d choose; but given the cars mentioned, I’d be quite happy with the ‘regular’ versions.

And yeah, I’d like a '63 Bug painted up like Herbie.

Give me KITT. And I would imagine myself talking to John Adams, or Dr. Mark Craig. Same irascible attitude.

Maybe Lady Penelope’s Rolls Royce FAB 1

6 wheeled ultra fast Rolls Royce with built in machine gun. I’d have to get a repaint though.

KITT was auctioned off last year.

It’s been a while since I read those, but I think that LogLan was mentioned only in The Moon is a Harsh Mistress, and that’s Mike you’re thinking about.

However, Carter did speak to Gay in a very rigid and syntactically exact language at the beginning of the book, and only later moved to more standard English.

Nah, I’m pretty sure the tachyon particle emmisions violate EPA law.

Apparently I was so drooling that I mess up my coding, too.

Didn’t know that. Let’s see…I understand the V12 & V8 but what is the AWD…right, all wheel drive. Got it.

A name like that and you wouldn’t choose a certain modified Ford Falcon XB?

Because of the Oz enhanccements, the Burroughs Drive, and hooking up with Dora, GD kept expanding in both capabilities and sentience.

Phnord, I thought she was a Ford originally, no? So, maybe she was purchased off the back lot of Reynold’s Ford on the Mile of Cars™, Norman, OKlahoma.

You know what her horn sounds like?

PHNORD!!!***
