Kell, Logs, Sugar Corn Pops
Sugar Pops are tops!
Someone listens to Radio Classics on XM, I suspect.
I’d like to change my #3 to Alan Davies/Stephen Fry.
Watson/Holmes
Barney Fife/Andy Taylor
Doc Brown/Marty McFly (not sure which would be considered the sidekick)
Holmes/Watson
The Tenth Doctor/Donna Noble
The Twelfth Doctor/Clara Oswald
I have a really hard time thinking of Spock as a sidekick, or he’d be on the list.
Honorable Mention: Harry Dresden/Mouse
Nope. Never heard of the program, and don’t really know what XM is.
I was born in 1950, watched a lot of TeeVee, and The Adventures of Wild Bill Hickock (or whatever it was called) was one of my favorite programs. Jingles yelling “Hey Wild Bill”, and that moronic Sugar Pops commercial, are my only intact memories.
Jack Burton
Morty-from Rick and Morty
Kick-Ass…from Kick-Ass
What, no Ed McMahon? How quickly they forget!
Andy Richter.
Inigo Montoya >>>> The Man in Black/Dred Pirate Roberts/Wesley
I forgot Marlin Perkins’ sidekick Jim Fowler on Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom:
MARLIN VO: I’ll stay here in the Land Rover, while Jim wrestles the fierce Bengal tiger!
JIM VO [AUSTRALIAN ACCENT]: Mind you, Bengal tigers are tricky beasts … can’t take your eyes off 'em for a second!
Hoppy Uniatz
Bunny Manders
Hawk
Good one! When we were a brand new couple, Mrs. Cretin and I used to love that show for Perkins’ voiceovers.
Did he *ever *get out of the Land Rover? :dubious:
I am sadly disappointed that in a thread about favorite sidekicks, no one has mentioned the King, the Ol Gabberoo himself.
Gabby Hayes
Jay Silverheels as Tonto
R. Daneel Olivaw
Lewis for Morse
Chet for The Hardy Boys
Hadji for Jonny Quest
I wanted to hear Jim say “Catch the damn cobra yourself!”
ETA: I almost have my wife convinced to go with zebra stripes on her white RAV-4.
