Love the Kate Bush love. She’d be #1 for me too. Besides full and multiple sets of singles and albums (LP, CD and vinyl) and Box Sets, we* traveled to Winnipeg, Canada once for a fan convention, and to London twice for fan conventions (she was there both times) as well as traveling to New York once just to meet her plane and say hi to her (when she came to the US to promote Hounds of Love).
#2 would be Happy Rhodes. Besides full and multiple sets of albums (she has 11), dozens bought just to give away to people, we* traveled numerous times to see her live, meaning, I’ve seen her live 24 times, but only 2 of those times were in Chicago. Most of them were on the east coast (Philadelphia, New York City/Troy/Albany, NY).
#3 would probably be Peter Gabriel, with all the albums and concerts and t-shirts.
#4 would probably be Genesis, considering all the albums I bought when I was still a fan, concerts I’ve seen, and the time I followed them on tour for a while.
Movies seen in the theater are my biggest expenditure, but that’s diverse, with no one director or genre out front.
*ok, does it count if my husband paid for the trips?
