Fred Thompson couldn’t even bother to campaign this year. What’s going to change in four?
Freepers were giddy with the idea that Thompson was going to sweep in and deliver them from their primary woes. He would keep them from having to vote for a RINO or a crossdresser or a Mormon or a populist! He’s perfect! He’s a dream come true!
And then Thompson finally, finally throws his hat in the ring and… nothing. It was like he thought announcing his candidacy was the only thing he had to do.
This is America,everybody cares. We elected our first black in history. A woman is possible. But Condi,I don’t think so. We are not ready for a black lesbian yet.
…well, that depends on who’s the “first lady”…that’d be a campaign poster that’ll get people to the polls.
I’d say this is still as good a guess as any…
Should we know all the major players by now? Is there still time for someone to spring out of nowhere in the GOP?
It won’t happen until 2016, so still too early to tell.

Is Newark mayor Cory Booker on anyone’s radar? He is the likely the next Senator from New Jersey.
It will be the candidate that wins the Democratic primary… i.e. Hillary Clinton.
I think a discussion of who might be the republican candidate that loses to Hillary might be a more interesting discussion.
Ajashi FTW. I predict she will beat (thrash) Santorum, but it’s not a strong prediction. That she will be the next president though I would bet a lot of money on.
