I’m calling it how I see it. Lawyers have negatively affected me more than criminals. The South has negatively affected me more than Muslims. The government has negatively affected me more than terrorists.
I’m just trying to put things in perspective, with a strong implication that we need to fix our fucked society before we can presume to know how to fix someone else’s twelve thousand miles away.

You’re harping on that one comment, but missing the point. I don’t want the South to be swallowed by a tidal wave, and I don’t want the middle east to suffer a complete lung plague.
The point is that I think Southern culture is more destructive than Muslim culture. Sure, it’s deliberately inflammatory, and I’m a complete ass, but I’m comfortable knowing that when I get an idea like this I can say it without feeling guilty.

True the South still has racism, but so does the entire country, do you remember the L.A. Riots? Remind me again where those took place. Its funny you should mention test scores though:
The South tends to have a higher proportion of African Americans, a group which as a whole tends to do poorer in academic areas. So when twice the number of a group that as a whole does poorly on tests, take said test that tends to skew the result of the larger group and you can’t really make an argument that it reflects the South as a whole.

Your conclusion – that the class as a whole is “worse” because it has affected you personally more or in a “worse” way – does not withstand scrutiny.
For example, I assume that like most Americans you interact with “government” virtually every day – go to the post office, pay your taxes, have a driver’s license. There are mutiple opportunities for “the government” to “negatively affect you,” whether that’s real or perceived: your mail doesn’t get delivered, your taxes get raised, you are pulled over and fined for speeding. The public library, the schools, the fire department, the police – it’s all “the government” and any decision made that you disagree with arguably “negatively impacts you.” And that can happen any day or every day. In contrast, how often have you personally been negatively impacted by terrorists? I’m guessing never.
So most people analyzing the situation logically would recognize that the higher number of “negative impacts” from government, the South, and lawyers is due to the sheer numbers of daily impacts with those groups, be those impacts negative, positive, or neutral. You interact often with lawyers, government, and the South. You don’t interact often with criminals, terrorists or the North.
As an analogy, you have two guns, A and B. You fire Gun A 500 times and it misfires twice. You fire Gun B 10 times and in doesn’t misfire at all. You therefore determine that Gun A is a worse gun than Gun B. That is the reasoning a child would use, but it doesn’t actually make any sense.
And since I am in fact a lawyer who lives in the South and works for government, let me close by cordially inviting you to kiss my rosy red ass.

He wasn’t aware that Clinton was a lawyer or that Iranians are by and large Persian. He is a defender of Scientology. From this we can conclude that he might suffer from some pretty broad ignorance.
He would prefer a society with no government (this actually makes the no lawyers issue redundant, because with no courts there would be no bar) over a society with no terrorists. This is at odds with his own safety. From this we can conclude that he might not be a good decision maker.
He hates the South. Well now we know he just has no taste.
