Who does this recent Jeopardy! contestant remind you of?

No specific color, but not B&W either. Something neutral.

I see a semi-closeup with little in the background to distract. It’s like if you cropped the Glenn Sullivan video down to just his face and had him looking to the right and more-or-less at the camera. Sort of sideways glance.

I did the “_____ commercial characters” image searches at Yahoo! for each of these with nothing to report:

pizza
finance
credit
carpet
bank
espn
fx
What else can you think of tied to your “money” theme?

I’m with you on the “no newspapers” thing so it must be TV. I’ve tried most of the channels I view with regularity.

The color I’m associating it with is green, as in maybe he was drawn with green ink. Maybe that’s what makes me think of money.

This is frustrating!

And addicting! I haven’t been able to focus on much else for days now.

Is it the FreeCreditReport.com guy or the “Can you hear me now…” Verizon guy?

I’m overthinking it. I think that by thinking about it too much, I’m creating false memories.

Can you link to an image? I can’t seem to find one.

It’s definitely not the Verizon guy.

Try this

Cool link and one to revisit for laughs. The “Jared from Subway” made me think of “He went to Jared” as another character who needs to be killed off!

I saw nothing to kick in the image I’m “seeing.”

What’s weirdest of all is that when we watched that episode of Jeopardy! I immediately asked my wife if the guy reminded her of something or somebody. She had no idea of what I was seeing and we usually agree on at least 60% of those things.

I know what you mean. I keep straining to try to get some audio, or words, or other features of the setting besides the guy’s face.

Nothing but those eyes and eyebrows and that look of astonishment coupled with a sort of “gotcha” thing.

What I fear now is that when I do find it, it’s going to be a major letdown!

Huckleberry Hound?

Nope, the guy is human.

In the search for a website (or free app) that would assist in face recognition, I ran across this one: http://faculty.washington.edu/chudler/java/faces.html

Do any of you have software already loaded on your computer that might work from that picture in the OP to locate some matches?

The downloads I’ve seen so far are prohibitive.

Oh sorry, I didn’t realize cartoon characters were off the table.

The “cartoon” I’ve been “seeing” in my mind’s eye is a human being, so those that are more of animals and other non-human forms are almost certainly not going to be a match for the guy in the OP.

I’m pretty sure of that, anyway.

And I think the image is far less cartoonish than that. No bright colors or thick lines.

Bu that was a good guess!

Well, that probably kills my idea of Ed from Ed, Edd, & Eddy

Just to be sure we’re looking for the same face, this is the image to match: http://www.jeopardy.com/beacontestant/winnerscircle/images/contestants/111811/Glenn_Sullivan_11_18.jpg

I’ve never seen a picture of a young Rodney Dangerfield, but he looks like a young Rodney Dangerfield to me. Especially the way he looks like he’s sort of talking out of the side of his mouth.

Glenn Sullivan looks likes Shaun Micallef
