Waiting on husband’s W-2’s… Got mine last week. Most of the friends who I file for are also still waiting on their paperwork as well.
Even if I get money back, I always wait until a couple of weeks before hand. Only because I want to avoid having to refile if I get a corrected tax statement. Which at least once a year, I’ll get one.
I am still waiting for paperwork from at least three different countries and have to translate some expense worksheets from about 20 different currencies into USD. As it costs me about $2000 each year to have my taxes prepared, I am also waiting for some more payments to come in first.
I finally got my W2 yesterday so I’ll probably end up doing my taxes over the next couple of days.
Oh, damn. The lady at the Revenu Québec office said they won’t even have the forms there until February 1.
I haven’t received my school financial paperwork. Paper W2s also haven’t arrived yet, but my employer has them online… I just haven’t bothered looking them up yet since I can’t file until the school paperwork is here.
Got my W-2 on the 16th: filed the same day. One income household, no strange stuff. Medical bills covered by FSA, which is already accounted for in my earnings.
Federal should be back by Feb 2: state sooner than that.
