We’ve been dreading this since the upgrade. Now, hamsters are not a very hungry lot. They can have food left for them at regular, if infrequent, intervals and do just fine.
But we’ve got capybaras, now. Big, hungry, eat a hell of a lot at a time capybaras. You don’t just dump a bowlful in once a week and then go and do your nails, play a round of golf, jet to Paris for dinner, and fail to get a babysitter. Not if you don’t want the capybaras to get hungry. REALLY hungry.
Obviously, the capybaras have developed a taste for posts and threads. Someone needs to tell them that that particular form of cellulose won’t be very nutritious, though if they are eating stuff from the Pit, likely it will cause them some indigestion! :eek:
