Who had the greatest hair in music?

No love for Porter and Dolly? Or Conway or Marty or Lyle?
Me neither.

Also George Jones. These are the sideburns of DOOM.

VO5 Mega-Hold could probably have kept the Tacoma Narrows Bridge together

/old goth

Tammy too.

God, I love that band. And always lusted after lead singer Janet Gardner. I dated a girl for a couple of years that looked a lot like Gardner, only with light brown hair.

I wanted my hair to be as long as Crystal Gayle’s when I was a kid. I would never let anyone cut it but it never seemed to get any longer than waist length. :frowning: I finally gave up on the ultra-long hair when I was in my 20’s and had better things to do then spend several hours blow-drying my hair.

Just ask Patricia Morrison. Hair now, hair now now, sing hair explosion to me.

Ooo, bassist from The Gun Club who joined Sisters of Mercy? Oh yeah.

I’m going to go with the best hair of the band put together. I vote for The Bangles.

Grace had some pretty awesome locks as well.

Peter Gabirel?

Aieee, no!

How about Jon Bon Jovi, back in the day.

Grace Slick was attractive? Who knew?

Lesley Gore, and it’s not even close.

See post #31 for the band Angel. They are prettier than the Bangles!

(No, not even close to being true, but man, their hair is more perfectly styled)

Lots of neat hairdos I’d like to have in this thread. A fro is a particularly unachievable and amazing look compared to persons like myself with laser-straight hair.

But as a man who has had hair and lost it, Curt Kirkwood has the best hair, and a chin to back it up. I not only want to have that hair on my head; but as a almost completely, 100% of 60% hetero male, I want to run my fingers through it. Yeah, I know they’ll get caught, I don’t care.

How did you not know that?

Never saw her close-up until the Starship era (not really a fan); Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert only showed shots of the whole band. :o

Probably a wig? Diana Ross:

I’m as heterosexual as one can possibly be, but Jim Morrison needs to be on this list.

Or the guy he wanted to be…Bruce Springsteen?
