I will concede my point on the vasectomy. My friend had one, didn’t report any difference, I guess I didn’t understand what it really was. Certainly a less powerful orgasm is going to produce less semen than a powerful, but I don’t know much about it. It sounds absurd to me - after all, the the pleasure of the orgasm is ultimately a function of the brain and not the equipment anyway. So I’ll concede that point and say only that it seems like women react more powerfully and for longer to orgasms, that it has a greater effect on their behavior and mood and this is based largely on the unscientifically chosen pool of women with which I have happened to have the opportunity to sleep with.*
*also unfortunately, the sample size is not large enough to make any statistically valid generalizations
Question for the multi-orgasmic women, then: are the subsequent ones less enjoyable than the first? Based on what I’ve seen, it seems not.
As a man, yes if I’m particularly horny and haven’t had sex in a while then I can keep going and come again maybe 10 or 15 minutes after the first time, but it’s a pretty pale shadow of the first one both in sensation and, er, volume.
Yeah, women get it better, it seems. Feels better, lasts longer, more repeatable AND no clean-up! I guess evolution had to make the act more rewarding for women seeing as they can end up pregnant…
Oh, I dunno. Many’s the night I punched my adversary in the fist with my face. They never expect that.
I can only put the fact that women are leading in the poll by a large margin down to poor reading comprehension. I would remind people the poll is not asking who wishes they had better orgasms.
I am guessing it depends on the woman. My first in a series tends to be the best. So if I’m having them in pairs, numbers 1,3, and 5 are the best and the 2,4,6 are good, but more like dessert than the main course. Sometimes I have my first set in triples, wherein #1 is the best, 2 is dessert, and 3 is just ok. Then I wait a minute and #4 is really good, #5 is dessert, etc.
Once I get to/beyond 7 (doesn’t happen often), they are all about equally good and start to run together. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten past 10, but I’m still under 30.
Less enjoyable, no. Different, yes. I’ve found that the multiples that come after the first couple can seem less intense in that they’re more centered around the genital area, as opposed to the head-to-toe wave of the first couple. If I continue to have the full-body ones, I’ve passed out a couple times. Fine for me, I don’t notice that part, but it can scare the bejesus out of my partner! I kind of prefer to avoid passing out.
I think that the question cannot be answered with any degree of accuracy. How can it be when the intensity and type of orgasms most people have vary from time to time. They do for me. I always presumed it was the same for men. Oh my, look at the time! It’s late! I really should go to…um…er…sleep now
I think more enjoyable for the woman. My wife seems to have ones lasting upward of a minute and after one I can’t touch her for a few minutes because she says it’s too sensitive. For me, it’s very intense, but over in a few seconds. I’ve noticed that add I get older my orgasms seem to be much less intense than they were when I was a young man. Of course I have much more control now than I did when I was younger. If it were only possible to combine the best of the young and older me.
Of course it’s another night if insomnia for me and all this talk about orgasms makes me think, do I dare wake my wife? Argggggggggggg, sometimes I hate you guys so much.
I find the first one, for me, is like a starter orgasm. The second one is usually the  orgasm. If I make it to the third or more, they start to run together, but usually don’t eclipse orgasm #2. So usually, I just stop at two. That’s by myself with B.O.B. With a partner, I can think of maybe two lovers with whom I’ve had multiples in my lifetime.
