I was under 900 back in 1999 with a different user name. I think I may take advantage of the offer. What’s the deal with subscriptions nowadays? I drifted away from posting when they started charging; I let it lapse and basically just lurk (until) now.

Subscriptions are $14.95 per year and can be purchased at any time from the User Control Panel, go to UserCP and click on “Paid Subscriptions,” then follow the prompts. Subscribers get a few little privileges, including the absence of advertising on the message board, more PM storage, etc.

The payment processing is handled through PayPal but accepts most every credit card and PayPal too, of course. You can also buy a Custom Title, just for fun. Subscribers help keep us in business and we appreciate all contributions.

When AOL went to the all-you-can-surf plan, I was there, because I had read at least one of the SD books, which said that Cecil was on AOL. I knew very well that I would need an unlimited plan if I used another online provider, as I’d been burned before.
