Who here has eaten at McDonald's the most? The least?

I’ve ate at McDonald’s maybe a dozen times in my life.

The rest of the time I use the drive-through

In addition to fried, (We didn’t do that when I worked there so I snuck one into the chicken fryer sometimes) McDonald’s apple pies are also good frozen. Not cooked, just straight out of the freezer. I don’t know if you’d ever get them to sell you one like that but we used to eat them with ice cream when I worked there.

I’ must be tied for least; as a Kosher-Observant Jew since birth, I’ve never eaten there.

But if you’ve been to Israel, don’t they have kosher McDonald’s there? (Or maybe it’s just that you can’t get a quarter pounder with cheese, which I guess doesn’t necessarily equal kosher.)

One of your co-workers, perhaps?

I used to eat at McDonald’s probably twice or more often a week - especially for breakfast, up until they closed the location near my office. Probably one of the best things a corporation has ever done for my health.

Once every six weeks or so, we’ll grab some double cheeseburgers and fries for the “Ah, screw it! It’s dinner time, we’re hungry and nobody wants to cook anything and we forgot to take out something to thaw anyway!” situation.

I’ve never eaten at McDonald’s. There wasn’t one in my hometown until I had reached the age of reason and could choose not to anyway. The only American fast food we had was KFC and I ate there once in my entire childhood; apart from that my parents would rarely allow us fish and chips or non-chain restaurant pizza as a treat. Otherwise, no takeout.

When I left home, I did go through a phase of trying fast food, but I figured since I had never eaten at McDonald’s, and it was during the middle of the McLibel trial so I wasn’t too impressed with their corporate behaviour, there was absolutely no reason for me to break my streak.
