Who here on the board are Not from USA ??

I’m just curious since there seems to be a lot of yanks here.
I’m from Europe my self

none ?

You’re telling us there’s countries other than the USA? Pff. Next you’ll be claiming that Delaware is a real place.

OK, I get the joke:)

I was just wondering how many members who are living ouside the US like me.

Ireland here. There are posters from the Uk and couple from Ireland, Sweden, Denamrk,Germany(American living there), Holland, Australia. That’s all I can think of but there are most likely more than that. The vast majority are American but they’re not too bad

Hello Quincy. Where exactly are you from?

I know most of us (myself included) are from the U.S. of A. There’s also a lot of folks posting from Canada and Great Britain. There’s some from Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, South Korea and Lithuania; and I’m sure I haven’t exhausted the list. But they may be posting/reading in different forums and haven’t seen your question. Anyway, I think it’s interesting: how many countries are represented on the SDMB?

Sorry yojimbo; simulpost. And sorry, too: I left out Ireland. Yeah, the South Korean poster (I think) is also from America (AstroBoy). ishmintingas has spent time here in the States but I think he’s a native Lithuanian? I’ve read somewhere a list of the countries that have the greatest internet use, and it’s: North America, the British Isles, Scandinavia, and Australia/New Zealand. Seems to be pretty representative of this message board.

Canada checking in - specifically the Yukon Territory. NO, IT IS NOT IN ALASKA, DON’T EVEN START THAT . . . sorry, reflex action. Of course intelligent, well-read, informed people such as post here wouldn’t make that kind of mistake.

Hi all

I’m from the UK. It seems that most of the people are from the US. The only downside with that is that the board gets really busy when most of us over here are in bed. But it would be good to find some other people from the UK who could have some discussions at a reasonable hour :stuck_out_tongue:

And, as I am from Delaware, I humbly submit that by TMR’s definition I’m an alien of some sort.

That street goes both ways. When my college German professor told a woman in Texas that he was from New Hampshire, she replied, “I know where that is. It’s in Canada, right?”

Which part? Texas?

I’m from the Western Hemisphere myself.
