Not that I’ve seen a whole lot of vans being impounded by the FBI, but why the tarp? Protect evidence? Cover all the MAGA stickers? Something else?
There’s a picture floating on Twitter that someone took recently of a van they took while passing a van in the area covered in stickers. A lot of stickers of targets of these bombs with targets.
MSNBC said the guy was arrested at Auto Zone because it was his place of employment. Allegedly, of course.
I would guess using a tarp is standard procedure for a car in such a big case.

I was going to say what a great job our LEOs in the various agencies did tracking this nutter down so quickly, but looking at that van I have to say…what took you guys so long?

Name of Cesar Sayoc Jr. currently lives in Aventura, Florida, previously lived in New York area, believed to be 56 years old. Believed to have a prior record and will be making an appearance in court this afternoon on charges.
Also just reported that DNA evidence apparently played a role in his arrest.
