techchick68 seems like a bit of a nutter to me. At least she gives the impression of having the most constant wild moodswings and dramatic meltdowns. when she is happy she seems really nice, when something bugs her it seems like all ability to think rationaly degenerates after one or two replys.
Now she might still be thinking rationally, but her ability to express this seems impaired.
I suppose there are worse examples of loony on here, but her posts are the most fun to read when she is in meltdown mode so I’m most familliar with her antics.
No offense to you intended, zen101, but it’s probably not too fair to characterize someone like that in this thread. I don’t even remember who the OP was, but it was my impression that this was a whimsical thread, and your post might not seem to carry that kind of tone. YMMV, of course.

hmmmm? I am new at this soooo I may be wrong…BUT my momma (and she is never wrong) always told me that the TRULY insane people are the ones who you never expect. They act rational and have seemingly normal social skills. Sooo…my vote has to go to SkipMagic!! I am convinced that the intelligent articulation of his posts are just a front. I am sure that eventually we all are going to be completely shocked when it is revealed that he secretly has 1000’s of your addresses, phone numbers and pictures posted on a wall in a secret room behind the cellar in his dark dreary basement.

I can’t believe how far down I had to scroll before getting to the insanely-against-circumcision guy.
Acrossthesea sounds pretty unstable sometimes, or at least very unhappy.
I can’t begin to guess. I see so much of the big font and smiley faces and various other visual tricks on here and I usually ignore the post unless the thread title is interesting to me.
There are doubtless people way nuttier than Techiechick, but I have yet to come across one as interesting to read as her. If I see a thread by her I always read it, if I see a reply to a thread I’m interested in that she posted I check it regularly and if anyone disagrees with her I begin to check the pit regularly. I have been so entertained by her posts I look for posts made by people she is fond of or can’t seemingly stand just because there is a good bet it will get interesting in a hurry.
The whole Admin/CSD thing had me riveted and I’m truly sad the thread and related threads were closed down. It’s like a damn soap opera with cussing.
There have been a few people with a specific crazy axe to grind (like the guy last year or so who said he could satisfy women better because he was uncut and didn’t need foreplay), and the few people who are constant jew-baiters or anti-queer maniacs. But for the most part these people are real one trick ponys. I like Techiechick because she spreads the lunacy around on a variety of topics.
Yay for Techiechick! If she ever really did quit the boards or got the boot I would be truly sad and in want of someone to take of the crazy slack ASAP.
I wish we had a repository of old threads. A sort of hall of fame of whacko postings. There are times the boards are dead and you want a little entertainment. It would be nice if there was a place to go with threads indexed by poster with a brief description of the madness therein.
Failing that resource, feel free to keep posting your favorites (links to specific threads would be extra apprecitated).
