Stumbled across this interesting video of Scot unboxing a plastic Japanese doll. Which came with some rather unusual instructions. Watch till the end or you’ll miss the best part.

WTF, indeed. Gotta wonder what they were smoking when they came up with that one.
BigClive is a great ‘taking things to bits’ youtuber.
…I can’t tell if one or both of you is actually serious though.
Didn’t even have to click on the spoiler. As soon as I saw the thread title I knew it was BigClive. IIRC, that’s the first video of his that I watched, years ago, and got hooked. I think I’ve seen them all now.
For those of you that like him, his brother has a channel all about whiskey. I don’t watch it (ralfydotcom), but I’ve seen one or two of his videos.
How about someone actually type out what he says for those of us who can’t, or can’t stand to, watch videos but are still interested?
He’s unboxing a fashion doll called “Fanny Flambeaux” of the “Smoking Pussies Gang” that he says he came across in a shop.
He follows the instructions to place the doll face down with its bottom pointing into the air and then use a lighter to activate the flame throwing power of the character.
Doesn’t sound like a Barbie doll to me.
Unless you go with the Aussie meaning of Barbie.
Not a *genuine *WTF moment, though. It’s fairly obvious that he knew what was going to happen, and was prepared for it, with the lighter right to hand.
And his reaction isn’t a convincing depiction of surprise.
The “Smoking Pussy Gang” in the box seems to be a recently printed sheet of paper glued to a standard Mattel Barbie box.
Obviously something he made himself with fireworks and some dime store doll.
Well, it seemed pretty clear to me what was going to happen (I mean, what other options are there.) Though it probably is most likely he tested it out on another one to be safe.
Correct, details here.
In the category of, “You learn something new every day!” this one’s a corker. I’ve seen some of Big Clive’s videos and many of Ralfy’s but I never put this together. Thanks!
The grammatically correct instructions gave it away. Couldn’t be from Japan.
