The SDMB is visited by some of the most creative people I’ve ever encountered. Their sigs can be a real hoot.
But, in the limited amount of space provided, who’s come up with the wittiest, cleverest “location?”
Yeah, I know, “San Juan Capistrano” is a real scream…I’ll leave the humor to the experts.
I can’t remember who has it but “In your grocer’s freezer” is one of my favorites. Along with Seven (I think) whose location says “Sneaking up behind you”. 
My favorite is the one that says “Location: Location: Location.”
It’s a real estate joke, see…
Personally, I like the way that SPOOFE’s location just says “SPOOFE”. I’m not sure why, but it craks me up every time I see it.

I’ll second KneadToKnow… “location: location: location.” was the absolute first thing to come to mind.
One I noticed today or yesterday was “Conceivable.” I like that a lot too.

Qadgop the Mercotan’s used to be cooler, I think it was “Slithering on the transorbital hull”. After the field was shortened, it’s down to “Slithering on the hull”.
I liked SPOOFE’s as well, it was uh…charming.
Location:Location Location would be Zebra’s. It always makes me giggle.
Mine is a “Princess Bride” reference, but I don’t think anyone’s caught it.
On this board? Inconceivable!

I wanted that one for myself. I’m tempted to use “Terra Australis” now.
I had to change mine after getting yelled at by about ten different people for saying in posts that I lived in MI, but my location still read “colorado”. I hope they’re happy now, eh.
Mine’s a literary reference from a short story called The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas by Ursela LeGuin about these people in a town called Omelas who are perfect and happy in every way. But in order to be perfect they lock a small child in a closet and use him as a scapegoat.
I had “location location” in mine when the location thing first went up, but dropped it after I saw a couple other people using it.
My favorite is the vat of nutritive fluid, too. I also like whoever is in a pod on a starship (I can’t remember exactly what it says). I’m sure there’s a reference there, but I don’t know what it is, so it’s amusing just to imagine someone posting from some little outer space bunkbed. That’s what I imagine, anyway.
Some female doper (bottleblondejeanie?) had a pretty amusing one with “state of intoxication”
I liked my old one: bowl of onion dip.
