Who loves the Google Toolbar? (v. pointless)

I’m in love, and it’s with a toolbar. The Google toolbar, folks, is new and improved, and I love it.

Had the old one for quite a bit, because, well, it’s convienant. I use Google quite a bit, espeically for research for school, so it’s nice to have the search box right at the top o’ my screen. Just type and hit enter, no need to go the actual website. Plus it’s got other things, too - you can translate the page, do a ‘backwards link’ search, etc. IT’s fun.

Oh, but the new one…drool. It automatically updated itself. The Google logo on the left is now green and blue - very pleasing to the eyes. Nice li’l button brings me straight to Google news, another favorite feature. It’s got a very nice AutoFill feature on itm which I especially like, as I’ve got quite a long name.

And - ladies and gentlemen, the crowning glory - it has a pop-up stopper, which is surprisingly effective. No extra program to run, no sirree. Plus, unlike the former pop-up stopper that I used, it allows links to open in a new window without needing to hold down ‘ctrl’. So if I’m Doping, for example, and click a link, it opens. But if there are pop-ups on the linked page, they don’t open! ooooh, ahhhh.

Yep. I’m in love all right.

I like it too. 22 blocked pop-ups since Saturday night.

Sweet! I loved my Google toolbar before the popup blocker but now, w00t! It just keeps getting better and better.

I too have warm and fuzzies about it. 23 blocked this morning. I also use the autofill as well…

Whenever I reformat a computer, it’s one of the first things I install afterwards. It’s simple, elegant, and I find I use it every day.

The pop-up stopper is just gravy. I love it.

Best. Plug-in. Ever.

I have it on my work computer and loooooove it. I keep meaning to install it at home, but…then I forget. 14 popups blocks at work, though!

The only browser plugin allowed to inhabit my system. I love it - it’s clean, easy to use and functional.

I mostly use Mozilla, which already has popup blocking (and there’s a Googlebar you can download for it).

But I have to use IE for a few occasional things, and even under those few circumstances I’m inundated. But no more!!! This thing rocks.

So the don’t make this wonder product for Netscape? I can’t find it ported thusly.

Its pretty cool. I like how it tells you how many pop ups it stopped. Its not enough to make me stop using opera 99.9% of the time though.
