Who ordered this MMP?

It’s 5:50 am and I, a retired person of leisure, is wide awake.

There is something inherently unfair with the universe these days.

What are you finding unfair?

First! It’s good to be juvenile!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis a cloudyish 75 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 95 and mostly sunny for the day. No big plans except maybe goin’ back to bed. I got up early to see OYKW off. He’s headed to the wilds of west Alabammy. He has an uncle with Parkinson’s who is not doin’ well and not expected to be around much longer so he’s visitatin’ family this week and wants to see him.

Metal Mouse I too am an early riser. Retired people are supposed to sleep in, right? Then what is wrong with us!

OK I need more caffeine and should feed rumbly tummy. After that, who knows!

Happy Moanday Y’all!

It’s the afternoon here…

I just spent some time doing gymnastics with my tablet outside (found a couple of “varied exercises apps” which work offline) before having a scrumptious lunch of one cereal bar.

Tried to access the online course I’m doing but apparently the server is down. ETA: it’s back up now. Time to get some studying done…

I find it unfair that the course grades on a forced curve. “A” tells me I did best of the class in that particular course, but I don’t know whether that means I did very well among a large group of people who also did very well, or that I was the least-sucky of three. No feedback on the actual final exam.

This morning, WaWa was unfair! Their soda machine ran out of Diet Coke!! Oh, the humanity!!! So I bought a can from the machine at work.

It’s actually a bit cool and not very humid this morning. The evil weather guessers are saying we’ll see 90 again before the week is out - I consider that to be unfair also, but what ya gonna do??

Just 61 days till our cruise - only unfair in that it’s 2 months off. I wanna go NOW!!!

And today my baby brother turns 60. That puts 3 of the 5 sibs in that decade, with the baby being 51. When did we all get so old???

**swampy **- retirees are supposed to shift their internal clocks and do everything earlier, so they’re ready for the Early Bird Special at Golden Corral or Denny’s! Didn’t your retirement handbook tell you that??

Happy Moanday anyway!

The world is inherently unfair. If it were, I’d be rich, thin, beautiful, blond, and brilliant. Three out of five ain’t bad, it’s the other two that are unfair.

It’s 7 am and instead of being at my desk at irk, I’m home. The sprog’s first day of school is today and instead of having a full day with uniforms and bus service, it’s a show-your-face orientation. The kids bring their supplies and get their lockers and desks set up, as appropriate, then leave to go do something else for the rest of the day. I have some phone calls to make and we’re still moving our stuff out of the old house. Hopefully, we can rent a truck this weekend and just get the rest of it out of there.

Blurf.

Life.

If life were fair, I wouldn’t have all this arthritis.
blurf
Sorry I didn’t wake up early enough - maybe next week

Blurf Tis unfair that I am not retired. But that would make me older which would also be unfair.

We had fresh grouper stuffed with fresh lobster and I made the most excellent sauce out of banana peppers, wine, capers, butter an couple other things. For a first time making it I was impressed.

Mow it’s back to irk. Nooooooooooooooooooooooo

I am sore all over after doing battle this weekend with the ivy in my side yard that’s threatening to take over the house. It ain’t fair.

If life were fair, I would have gone outside yesterday and finished digging the patio hole with little to no difficulty. Instead I’ve got rock-hard dirt, and then I got stung by a bee through my pants. So I gave up. The gravel will be delivered Friday. I might be ready by then.

Also, if life were fair, I’d be home sleeping right now because I had a very busy weekend and deserve a day off.

I’m not at work! I’m on vacation! Yay! Tommorrow I’ll go on a short road trip with my mom, when I get back I’ll tell you all about several roadside attractions in Kansas!

It’s after 9. I’ve been on the clock for 2 hours. The boss isn’t here and I have nothing to do. Nothing. The one teensy-tiny correction he left on my desk took less than 5 minutes, but I can’t finish it without clarification from him - specifically, whose name he wants in the “Checker” block, considering the drawing was done 7 years ago and the person who checked it then no longer works here.

Apart from that, lalalalalalalalala

Oh, wait, he just got here.

Mooooom, you should always have a book or magazine at irk to read in the down time, which it seems you have quite a bit of.

Truthfully, nothing in my life is unfair. I spent a long time of things being unfair, but now the world has righted itself. I bought cotton candy grapes, and boy howdy, they are indeed grapes that taste just like cotton candy. Not that I ever have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for cotton candy, but they are fun.

Butters, grouper stuffed with lobster sounds to die for.

I don’t expect anything to be fair so I am never really surprised by any occasions. I just give it a grin and move on. For whatever reason I am more troubled by unfairness to others than I am when it happens to me.

As far as the time thingy; without a reason I always sleep to 8 or 9am. I tend to be up late (past midnight) and I still like to get as close to 8 hours as I can.

Seeing the MMP from SSR I guess votes in the MMP count about as much as votes in the Democrat Primaries!

Don’t worry kiddo, guilt them for all its worth!

Howdy Y’all! I did go back to sleep for a little while this mornin’. Since then I have washed, dried, and put away a load of towels. Go Me! I have a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for fried chikin. Since I am not goin’ to actually fry chikin for just me, I reckon that means I should put on goin’ out in the public clothes so’s I can get me some fried chikin. Life is unfair!

I’m in the same boat as** Moooomm**, bored at work with nothing to do.

Boss finally gave me a metric buttload to do. In fact, I pretty much worked past my usual lunch break, so I’m having lunch late. I guess that’s good.

FCD’s Dr told him, unprompted, that he shouldn’t drive to FL. I swear, I didn’t tell the doc to say that, but my sweetie is suspicious. I think it’s hilarious!! But I’m glad he said it, since *someone *wanted to drive to Ocala this week. I think we should drive to my mom’s - it’s about 1/8 the distance to Ocala and I think it’d show him he’s not ready for a marathon drive.

I’m ever amazed how someone so smart can be so not-smart…

My gnawin’ and cravin’ for fried chikin has been abated. I know y’all were worried.

I, for one, worry about you a lot, swampy.

:stuck_out_tongue:

Lunch has been ingested. I suppose I should get back to work.
