Check your profile, love.
I would’ve gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for those meddling kids!
You’re welcome, beatle!
916 posts since April 7th. That’s 308 days. Now, subtract my little “vacation” from the board (7/23 - 9/14, I think), that’s 255 days. So, 3.6 posts per day. Not much.
However, when you consider that I post on several other boards, the number changes considerably. My total post count is more like 1874 posts. Divide by the same number of days (since the SD was the first board that I joined, and when I took that break I took it from all of the boards) and you come out with 7.35 posts per day.
Damn. That still sucks. Yeah, well, I have a life! (Yeah, that’s the ticket.)

I hope you kid is going to be a math student - otherwise we would have to explain to you how to divide correctly

How do you know how many posts you have without actually making a post? Or does everybody here post often enough that that’s not a problem for them?
I started the “who’s from the smallest town” thread, now maybe I should start “who’s got the lowest posing average”
Looks pretty close to .312 posts per day, depending on exactly whn I registered. Gotta be pretty close to a record, but all this posting is going to mess up my average.

Hmmm
771 posts, 141 days comes out to 5.47 per day. That’s pretty good, except for the fact I don’t post on weekends. Take those out and I jump up to 7.56 posts per day, which means I have much less of a life. Of course take out that 10 day Christmas vacation…
Have you voted for your favorite, huggable Mullinator today?
I think Phaedrus/Mikey/whoever probably has the HIGHEST “posing” average. (Or was that just a typo?)

Figure mine out please!
I’m a SDMB loser!!

You know, that’s true.
But I would like an asterisk in the record book. I posted ONCE, on Dec. 18, and then not again until January, deciding I should read and learn before diving in. So I really should get only forty-two days worth of time charged to me in this calculation.

I’m on the record as liking lawyers, but sometimes even I can’t resist. This:
is the first instance in recorded history of an attorney asking to have his hours reduced.

Well, since I ended up figuring out so many, I wrote a little sql statement:
SELECT “Days” = DateDiff(day, [registered date], getdate())
A lot of calendars show the days numbered from 1-365 (366 this year) so that’s a pretty pretty easy way too.

Another one of the lazy brigade heard from:
100 days
136 posts (well, that’s what the profile said)
1.36 a day
Hey, it’s over 1, which is fine with me.
You all realize that the way to beat these numbers is to register, and then get into a bunch of stupid arguments and post a few dozen times a day, right? Is this behavior that we’re trying to encourage?
…but when you get blue, and you’ve lost all your dreams, there’s nothing like a campfire and a can of beans!
70 in 60 days is 1.16

I’d rather see that then someone asking about words ending in ‘gry’.

Let’s try this again… Someone may have already commented on this but I think you jsut figured out that you 1 post every .649 days. 1.54 posts a day.
