Boy, starting this thread has really helped my average! I started out at .990 a day, now I’m over the one-post-a-day barrier with a 1.04 average!

orangecakes - 1243 posts / 140 days = 11.4 posts/day. Ummm, weren’t you vanillanice in a previous incarnation? Do you want me to dig that info up and give you a complete tally? And there was that single post as Faydruss, was there not?
Uncle, Yes! Help me out. Count me also as vanilla who started last April, I believe. Forget the fayedruss one, that was a silly joke!
Okay, orangie. Here’s the totals. By the way though, I made a mathematical error in the first calculations; the ones below are correct.
Vanillanice - 164 posts / 196 days = 0.84 posts per day
Orangecakes - 1243 posts / 140 days = 8.88 posts per day
Total - 1407 posts / 336 days = 4.19 posts per day.
How accurate these counts are I do not know. I remember back during the flaming folder upgrade a bunch of posts got lost somehow. I think I lost nearly one hundred. So there ya have it.
I see I am much more prolific(and I hate anti-lifics!) than vanilla!

Some of you have to be told how to count the days since you registered? Good grief… :rolleyes:
Okay, I registered on September 18. Counting that day, you get thirteen days for the rest of the month since there are 30 days in September. Now add the days of all the months between September and now:
13–September
31–October
30–November
31–December
31–January
10–February (because today is Feb. 10th)
146 days total
Counting this post, I have made 1059 of them. 1059 posts divided by 146 days equals 7.2534246 according to my calculator. (And that’s counting the three weeks-plus I took off in December and January. I think I’m currently averaging 10 to 11 posts a day.)
Anyway, you should be able to figure out for yourselves how many days have passed since you registered using my example. Next week, advanced calculus.

Well, Jeezus H. Christ on a pogo stick! If I had known that you were going to jump all over me over my poor math skills, I would have stayed the hell out of this thread. I have never been any good at math (hell, I flunked basic math in tenth grade, for criminy’s sake). I certainly did not try to calculate that in my head. I used the calculator that came with my Windows program. Obviously I managed to screw even that up.
