I suppose there’s nothing solid yet on the latest Trek series but who would you like to see as a new Captain of whatever ship is boldy going off where ever?
When I heard Scott Bakula was being considered I nearly blew a blood vessel, all I can remember of him is whining at Al in Quantum Leap. I really want someone like Patrick Stewart back again but I suppose a change would be nice.

It looks like Scott Bakula is not just being considered, he IS the new captain. He’ll be playing Captain Jonathan Archer.
I like Scott, I think he’ll make a good captain.
He’s not being considered; he’s signed. Granted, that makes him as much a captain of the Enterprise as Genevieve Bujold was captain of Voyager, but still. They’re filming as we speak.
I have no problems with him as Captain. I just hope the rumors are true that Marjorie Monaghan will be on the show so my thing for Star Trek women can continue unabated… Yeoman Rand… Ensign Ro… Kira Nereese… Kes… Seven of Nine… T’Pol… woo!
