Okay this is weird. I’ve had oh maybe 5 or 6 erotic dreams in my whole life up until the last week.

One was about David Bowie, (sadly only one, although I spent YEARS trying to dream about him) one was about Deanna Troi from "Next Generation) …odd choice, since Im pretty much straight and a non trekkie, but whatever, I dont get worked up about stuff like that. Others have been about boyfriends at the time I was with them.

This week though I have started having very odd dreams. For the last week I have had reccurent eroticized dreams about my kindergarten boyfriend. No, not about a little boy, but about him now, as an adult. I still see him around from time to time when I visit my home town, we maybe say 20 words to each other every 5 years, and its been that way for , about 20 years since we stopped going to the same school. Until the other day when I dreamed about him I dont think I’ve thought about him since I last saw him about 3 or 4 years ago.

I am married, and pregnant, so maybe horomones are doing weird things.

But still, it has creeped me out. These dreams are way more graphic, explicit and highly charged than any dreams Ive ever had before. And I wake up feeling extremely guilty, like Ive cheated on my husband. Never felt that way EVER after an erotic dream.

Any advice? Who stars in your erotic dreams? These dreams arent going to change my life but still, they have unsettled me.

I used to have highly erotic dreams while I was pregnant. But trust me, it goes away. I now have a six month old, and I’m lucky if I sleep, much less have a dream.

I had one really intense one about Elijah Wood. That was nice.

Apart from that I’ve had them about my father, my ex-girlfriend’s twin sisters, various classmates and Pricegal.

Consistently co-starring recently has been an unnamed, but quite attractive young woman, perhaps an amalgamation various women I’ve met.

I’m pregnant too and the dreams have certainly taken on a different intensity. Sometimes I’ve asked my husband if we had midnight sex or did I just dream it?!

Usually my husband stars with me in these dreams. I’ve had some rogue ones about nameless strangers and a few with David Duchovney way back when X files first started but in the last 5 years or so all my sex dreams have been with hubby. Guess that must mean I’m pretty happy with him!

I agree with the other dopers, I think that being preganant has A LOT to do with it. As for feeling guilty, don’t! Just be greatful you have an “interesting” expereince with another person and you don’t have explaining or hiding to do afterward :wink:
