Mid to late September 1963.
Spring and a young man’s fancy?
My parents never told me any details about the conception. I’m guessing it wasn’t a one-time event and therefore didn’t stick in the mind. The calculator puts it at April 12 to April 20 1955.
They did mention that I got past a diaphragm. They had been married for a while, but were trying to wait until they could afford to have children. As in, until they could afford to have Mom quit her job.
They also mentioned that Dad had been a little early. I was in junior high at the time and they were taking the opportunity to impress on me that I came from very fertile stock.
I think I was a Thanksgiving goose, but then again, my folks lived in Alaska when I was conceived so I could just lay it to overall cold weather. I was born July 9 and by that time we were in Florida.
Coincidentally, it was 39 years ago today that I conceived my son. Yeah, it was a Friday night back in 1969 too.
My mom’s birthday.
They told me the story once. ::shudder::
I was due the first week of August, 1964, came two weeks late. So, conception was shortly after JFK was killed.
My youngest, conceived about 12:15 AM, January 1, 2001. What a way to start out the millenium!
Sometime in late June of 1975. I don’t know any details about any possible occasions, and I really would rather not know.
June 12, 1978, two days after my parents got married. Yes, they knew. Yes, they told me. Yes, they were hippies and under the influence of mushrooms and wine.
Even if they hadn’t told me, I could have done the math myself. My birthday is March 14.
I was conceived in a quickie. I don’t know the exact date, but my dad had been out of state working for three months, drove in to see my mom one afternoon, did… stuff… and then drove back to work that night for three more months. There was no way it could have been any other day or time.
Hard to tell for sure, but 6 weeks after telling Daddy that she was bored and wanted either a baby or a Color TV, Mom and her sister were shopping for maternity clothes, but stopped at the TV shop to watch the coverage of Kennedy’s assasination instead, and my wee-hours of June 24th, and our Legendary Family Fertility . . .
Thursday, October 3rd, 1963. Hmmph. Daddy was slow buying a TV, so he got laid a day early . . .
I’m guessing he was paid every other Friday.
I was born June 4, so that put me “being made” in early September the year before - No significant events then. But I was late… so okay… never mind I think I was a Anniversary lay… eeewww [shudder at the thoughts of parents having sex]
My husband, is well, a Valentines Day lay present :D, he was born November 10.
My brother and I were both born 9 months after New Years, 3 years apart.
I finally got it out of my mother that she had gotten a few drinks into my father, each time. I suspect those were the only times they had sex, but didn’t have the heart to ask her.
I think I was conceived sometime around my brother’s 2nd birthday in early September as he is 2 years 9 months older than I. I maintain that he was also well aware of this fact at a very young age and has hated me for it for a long time.
I was concieved of back in '44 by the OSS, but the war came to an end quicker than my R&D and gestation cycles would allow. It wasn’t until '76 (due to Congressional funding and looming reports of an energy crisis due to a war started by the Soviets in the Baku region of Azerbijan) that my project was ‘restarted’ again.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have the funding of the Serpentor Project, but had to make due. I was pieced together with samples from Alan Alda and Dirk Benedict, Magnus von Braun, Sylvester Stallone, Curtis LeMay, and Joseph McCarthy. [sub]Gov’t cutbacks are a bitch. I think they used the last three as the largest percentages.[/sub]
So, I popped out later, and when they found that someone had accidentally spilled a little Abbot and Costello into the mix (and some Bisquick, apparently), they figured that while I wasn’t good for the shock troops, I’d be “good for follow-on action after we crossed into East Germany.:” They said they’d contact me through the transponder embedded in my ear, but it’s either malfunctioning (I keep getting broadcasts of KKBR in Billings) or this flu that kicked my ass has shorted it out with all of the congestion in my sinuses. You’d think they’d install either waterproof equipment, or use better technology.
Tripler
Damn government cutbacks.
My mom’s B’day was in mid April and I was born in mid Jan., so I’m thinking maybe she had a very happy 19th B’day.
Yours truly was conceived on or about March 20th 1941 much to the delight of my mum and dad.
Others scattered around the globe were not so impressed.
I refer specifically to good old Adolf who, on the day of my birth, decided to send the Luftwaffe to blitz Manchester…the bastard
I was conceived around my parent’s 4th anniversary, when they went to Kentucky to visit my grandma and Mom forgot her ‘pack’. It took them 2 days to get another one in rural Kentucky; guess it didn’t occur to them to use a back-up method out there in the hollow. My brother’s a honeymoon-made baby and our birthdays are 10 days apart.
Given that my birthday is mid-December, that would make “the date” be mid-March. Must have been just for fun, because neither of my parents had a birthday then and they are not Irish.
I was probably conceived about 10 days before my dad’s birthday. I don’t want to speculate if the event was an early birthday present or not. This would have been April 1988.
I was conceived some time around the end of October 1962 – according to my mum who never married my father and advised that there was a log fire involved on a cool night, a rug, and a forgotten condom …
Freaky! My mother could have made that post except maybe April instead of May.
