I was reading some old copies of the old site “Jump The Shark,” before it was bought out and well “jumped the shark.”
And I was reading about the old TV show, "Solid Gold," where they played the current hits.
Anyway this question was brought up so I figured I’d ask it here as well for those of us hold enough to remember the show.
So which host(s) did you think was the best?
I must say I loved Season 2 with Marilyn McCoo and Andy Gibb. I found McCoo to have a beautiful voice not to mention was also beautiful to look at. And Gibb, though his career has stalled by then, still had enough fame to give the show some decent credibility.
The worst host was Rick Dees, I never thought he fit the format at all
I fondly remember the dancers, who are them I learned to dance from.
Marilyn McCoo was so talented. Her singing always brightened the room.
I voted her solo. Andy Gibb was such a troubled and tormented soul. R.I.P.
