Who would want a car with an arse crack on the roof?

Who would want this thing? What was the design brief? “We want something a bit like the Audi TT, but with a huge bum on the roof”

I kinda like it.

I think it’s kind of cute. I’d take it if someone gave it to me.

I dunno. The roof styling is a bit unusual, but i really like the look of the car overall. Like you, i immediately thought of the TT when i saw the styling.

Looks like it’s melting.

It’s cleavage.

I like the bump, reminiscent of the FD series RX7’s and the Gurney bump styles.

I think that’s a pretty nice looking car. Wonder if they’re selling it in the US…

It’s… ummm… different.

Maybe they we trying for a hint of dual canopy, like the 1960’s-style Batmobile?

Reminds me of the 90’s Dodge Vipers.

Peugeot are not sold in the US but you could privately import one if you have a huge bucket-o-cash. It’s not cheap but it’s doable. Peugeots have miserable reliability ratings though.

I might not have pictured it as a butt crack if you hadn’t mentioned it but now I am totally picturing it in a thong.

Or was it a design boxer?

I thought it was stupid until I read this… now I like it.

What a world, what a world.

Mange, have you taken a Rorschach test lately? What percentage looked like bum to you? Because I must say arse crack is not what I thought of when I saw that picture.

My first thought was a sorta reverse car bra (you know, those black fabric stone chip protectors on the front of some sports cars) but make up to look like a pair of tighty whities.

But I like your suggestion better.

This.

I kind of like it.

I’ll bet the stress pattern in that back window is weird. One good, solid bump, and I’d bet it has a tendency to crack.
