Okay, I don’t watch “The Norm Show” myself, but if I understand the tune that you’re questioning… it’s by Doug & The Slugs, a Canadian band who was big (in Canada, at least) in the 80s.

“Too Bad” was written by a Canadian named Doug Bennett. His band, Doug and the Slugs, recorded the song in 1980, when it got quite a bit of radio airplay.

Doug and the Slugs were one of the best live shows that you could hope to catch back in the early 80s.

A very funny band, great banter with the audience, and actually a very tight rhythm section to boot.
