Didn’t see another thread, don’t know if this is the right place for this one.
I haven’t decided for sure yet one way or the other, but I’m leaning toward no.

look at the announcement at the top of each board. You won’t have to.
I’m aware the board is going to free posting. But nobody seems to know when that’s happening. If you subscribed the first time it was offered and kept resubscribing until now, your subscription runs out in three days.
Therefore, those folks have to make a choice:
A) Pay up now in order to continue posting – after the switch, the only privilege you get for your dollars is no ads.
B) Let the subscription expire, lose the Charter Member title (for those who care about such things) and forgo posting until the upgrades come.

With money as tight as it is for me right now, I’ll put up with the ads. I’d scrounge up 15 bucks to post, but not just to skip banner ads.
Maybe I’ll change my mind when I start seeing the banner ads.
ETA I think I’m good until November, anyway.
I’m going to wait until free posting comes around. No credit card, PayPal doesn’t work, and I really don’t want to mooch another year’s subscription off another poster if, as promised, free posting will truly start in June-July. (Plus TPTB have stated previously that they would prefer no-one paid because of increased ad revenue. Sure. Anything that doesn’t involve me paying is fine with me.) A few-month hiatus probably will just do me good. 
I thought it was already a done deal and didn’t pay to re-subscribe.
I don’t think the Charter Member title is all that impressive…as I mentioned in another thread, you only have to look at when someone signed up and how many posts they have to figure out they have been here for awhile.
Plus, the ads don’t bother me all that much.
I won’t be renewing, but I had decided that before the latest changes were announced.
I renewed in March. Seems I’m paid up to 11 May 2009- don’t know how that was managed.
I already haven’t declined to perform the opposite action of refusing to not avoid renewing.

I suppose I’ll renew just because I can afford to. Can I hold off, just to see if they’re going to make it worth it? Really, how many posts do we need asking us how we tie our shoe laces?
Actually, those posts are great in their way, and one of the great things about this board.

Too late for me, already renewed. More than a month ago.
I’m not paying anymore. I originally wasn’t going to pay when the board switched several years ago. But xash out of the blue paid my membership and I continued out of obligation so that the original donation wouldn’t seem a waste.
I had to pony up in March, so it’s not an issue for me at the moment. Presumably I’ll get no ads until March 2009. I’ll probably let it lapse then to see how much the ads bother me. In general, I’m in favour of increasing board revenue, so unless they’re really annoying I probably won’t pay. One banner ad at the top of each thread I could live with, one between each post I would probably pay 15 bucks to avoid.
I renewed last week. I have so little prestige in RL that the CM title actually does mean something to me.
