I’m taking Indiana. Just finished Day 1: MPT in the morning, state essays in the afternoon. MBE tomorrow for half the points. Indiana is nice to us and doesn’t use the Multi-State Essay or essay-test on MBE topics (except Sales some years).
The worst is over for me. The state essays were what worried/worry me the most. I’ve been doing just fine on my practice MBEs. Was going to do more tonight but the prospect fills me with dread.
Good luck to everyone! Report when you have the energy… I can’t even form a coherent sentence right now.
Oh, I am!! Oh, no, never mind. I’ll be at the bar, not taking it.

Are they generally given at the same time all over? How many times a year?
I’ve a friend taking it this week.
Yah, most jurisdictions give a two-day bar exam this week. In fact, most do it on the same two days - July 28th and 29th. Some very … ah … “special” jurisdictions even do a three-day exam. (Texas, I’m looking at you.) I don’t see how anyone doesn’t go nuts from that.
Most jurisdictions offer the bar exam twice a year - July and February.
I just finished the first day of the Maryland bar, myself - state law essays and the MPT. I never thought I’d be looking forward to six hours of multiple-choice testing, but good Ford - after today, it’ll practically be therapy.
Good luck, all!
