I am horribly, deeply embarassed for these people
Please tell me this site is a horrible joke.
(mods, I hope this is the right forum-I figured since it’s fan fiction and a tv show, it would go here!)

This is far from the strangest fan fiction site I’ve seen, so I’m afraid it’s real. The only thing that suprises me is that there are only 174 stories. Maybe they haven’t started doing LOTR crossover slash yet.
I have to agree with ShyGuy here, having seen many fanfiction sites over the years–it’s not a horrible joke. It does, however, beg the question of how you happened to … find the site though, Guinastasia!
There are some really good writers out there doing fan fics… and some really bad ones, unfortunately. I have read some great stuff done on some of my favorite shows…and yes, that includes some soaps! Babylon 5 generated some fine stuff as well. It all depends on the … well, intensity of the fans love for the shows I guess is the best way of describing how and why the fan fics are generated.
Sorry to have rambled about fan fic so much. WTB fanfic wouldn’t be palatable to me, I’ll admit.
The fact that it exists surprises me not at all. The fact that there are so darn many does surprise me a bit. And after seeing Pride & Prejudice slash, a Harry Potter/Trigun crossover (if you’ve never seen Trigun, just trust me on this one, it doesn’t go), and (just Friday) an Oklahoma-based NC-17 fic, I’m pretty hard to surprise.
I hate to admit it but I have a certain curiosity of how the relationship between Tony and Angela is portrayed here. But I’m not going to read and find out (or if I do, I’m not going to admit it.)
And if you knew the stuff I write you’d think I was a big hypocrite for criticizing anything. (some really bad ones… I resemble that remark…)
If this isn’t a joke, then what is?
I think I’m going to go off the internet entirely and stick to listening to the radio from now on.
What’s even stranger is that, at a quick glance, so many of these stories are rated G. Writing Who’s the Boss fanfic is bad enough, but if there’s not even porn involved, I mean… Gee, what’s the point?
But why are they all about Tony and Angela? Shouldn’t there be some about Jonathon and Samantha? That’s what I’d do.
In doing a search on one of my favorite sexy Brit actors, I stumbled across this disturbing site. But, strangely, I couldn’t stop myself from reading some of them. The ones involving this woman, Rowan Atkinson, and Tim Curry were the strangest by far. The whole Mr. French thing just seemed too weird so I didn’t go there.
Fan fiction is an interesting thing
On another message board-someone found it and shared it with us.
I’m not surprised. They have Full House fanfiction for kids who I think are too young to have watched Full House.
*snort. The worst was one I found on AdultFanfiction. There was a Growing Pains Incest/Rape Fan fic. It was very, very, VERY bad.
I just skimmed it when we were looking for really bad fan fictions.
When someone presents me Paddington Bear slash, or The Pixies slash, then my ruination will be complete.
And a story where Black Francis does it with a Paddington doll might just cause my brain to explode.
Kantalooppi, be careful, you’re giving someone ideas.
I’ve seen listings for Teletubbies slash so nothing fazes me anymore.
If it’s opposite sex action, is it still slash?
Nope. However, sometimes I wonder-if it’s about characters who were already gay (say you were writing a Will and Grace fan fiction where Will and Jack get it on), would it still be considered “slash?”
Or characters that are already partnered?
Who’s the Boss fan fiction…makes sense. People on the web are into esoteric things.
Whats whos the Boss?
That’s cute… you just have fun, Who’s The Boss? fans. I won’t judge you, man.
