How are you going to get this person into your life? Let’s face it… three weeks from now it will all be VERY different, but right now, s/he is on your mind and (hopefully) vice-versa.

My current crush? Anahita. For sure. She works at the Straight Dope University. And she is just dreamy. She is married, so don’t tell her husband. Here is why she is dreamy. She is very pretty. (Like a dream on a deserted island with pretty girls.) She is smart. (Like a dream when you are at school and are taking a test for a class you have never been to. But, the beautiful girl next to you softly breathes the answers to you.) She is a good Mommy to her daughter. This would be enough, wouldn’t it? This would knock your socks off. But, there is more. Best of all. She knows all about American porn translated into French. She considers herself an expert. She is the crushiest crush around.
My other crush doesn’t work at SDU. But, she is very beautiful to. She lets me listens to music for free. Sure, they say the listening stations at the record store are for everyone. But, I can tell by the way she points them out. They are made special for me. She has green eyes and she has black black hair. She has excellent choice in music, and a radiant smile that puts music in my eyes and in my ears. (It might be the store’s speakers, as well. Who knows?) That’s my other crush. But, really, isn’t anahita the important one?
I have a great big crush on Potter. He’s great. He’s funny and sexy and gorgeous and (well, I won’t go into that, but he’s got lots of other attributes as well) and he thinks I’m cute too, which is a definite turn-on. Plus he’s a former punk, works in a homeless shelter, and has shiver a British accent.
Trouble is, the British accent comes complete with a British address, so it may be a little bit of time before I can do anything about it.
One of our local NPR announcers. I’ve had a crush on her for years. I met her once for about ten seconds, but I was unfortunately unable to say anything but “Guh, guh, guh.”
You know, it’s funny this topic should come up today. I was just out dancing last night, and there was a charming and very attractive young woman (whose name was Elizabeth) there. Nothing much (besides dancing) happened, although she did seem to make a point of asking how often I went out dancing (like I told her, pretty much once or twice a week). After our first dance, I said something like “Maybe we can dance again later”, and she said something like “Yes, please.” Please. Needless to say, we danced several times. I’m hoping to run into her next weekend.
She’s maybe two or three inches taller than me, with dark brown hair, and the sexiest eyebrows. That sounds weird, but they’re full without being caterpillar-like. Very nice. Plus, she has the most penetrating eyes, and the prettiest smile.
Like Pessor said, in a three weeks or so this will probably be a thing of the past, but it’s the crush I’m thinking about today. And it makes me happy.
I have a crush on Jeremy Irons. I think I’d have to go to England and storm his castle though so it shall remain forever unrequited, as I am not equiped for the proper storming of a castle.
I never get crushes I can DO anything about. I’m married and happily so, and I really haven’t been tempted to fool around for real. My imagination, however, takes the low road whenever possible. So mostly, I either take a cold shower, or hop in bed with my husband and let him reap the benefits of said imagination.
I don’t have a crush. I suppose the thing to do about this is to find a job where men work too, but…I like working with little kids, and most men don’t Why don’t any of my friends have interesting, single brothers?

Oh, he’s already been approached and I’ve already made out with him a few times…I just don’t think it’s going to go any further. 'Till then, I’m trying not to let myself fall in love with him.

Right now, I don’t have a crush. Last summer, though, I had a mad crush on my brother’s very good friend Eric. I’d say he was my friend too… but I’m not THAT sure of it. Sure, we’ve known each other for sixteen years, but as for being friends or more? Forget about it. It was very nice while it lasted. And I did something about it many times. (not to him, but you know what I mean)
