I started chatting to a certain someone (who am I kidding? It’s Simetra ) a little while ago after we met in chat, and now I’m addicted. He is the sweetest, kindest guy I have ever met. He’s so funny and warm, and has the best smile on this planet! He also thinks I’m pretty, so he gets even more points!

We have been talking non stop for the past week or so, and I must say that I am having a ball. It’s fun having a crush. Too bad he lives in the States and I live in Australia. :frowning:

He is just so cute and sweet! He gives me butterflies.

Man, you people just want, want, want all the time. Maybe I don’t have one. And if I did, maybe I’d tell you who it was and maybe I wouldn’t. :wink:

Perhaps I’ll make that my summer project. Right now I just don’t have the time. I’ll report back in August with a “What I did on my summer vacation” thread, ok?

Oh! I do have a new one…I’m quietly stalking jarbabyj on livejournal because she’s so adorable, forthright, and passionate. Between her and CrankyasanOldMan I have found what I want to be when I grow up.

I have this obsession with RickJay that sometimes just simmers in the background and sometimes is on full-boil. He doesn’t know I’m alive, but that makes it even more fulfilling because it allows for more sighs, more poetry-writing, more fruitless writing-of-his-name on my spiral notebook. Aren’t those the best kinds of crushes? They can go on forever.

I had a crush on Andygirl (who was at the High Park TorDope) a while back, but as usual it couldn’t go anywhere… borders, age, and preferences raised insuperable barriers.

Then there were CrankyAsAnOldMan, GingerOfTheNorth, Scotticher… alas, I fear that, with today’s world situation, there is no hope for me.

Qadgop is just dreamy. I met him awhile back and he’s just as witty and charming in person as he is on the boards. His wife is a lucky woman.

I also have a crush on Tuckerfan. We share a love of space and an addiction to Dr. Pepper.

I tend to get crushes on every female that is nice to me, so I’m making a conscious effort to not develop any. However there is one Doper I would like to meet IRL… (well, more than one, but one in particular.)
