Ya know, that marvellous thing that The Master uses to turn his foes into doll sized corpses? Over the past few months, I’ve been gradually overcome with the urge to build a replica of it.

Unfortunately, I have no dvds, no dvd player, no way to tape the show (my tv has a video in but no video out. I don’t have cable, so I can’t just hook the line up to the vcr), and searching the web turns up no decent images. There are numerous pictures and schematics for the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver, but I can’t find any of the TCE.

I humbly request the help of my fellow Dopers. If you can find images, please post links here.

Well, here’s a really poor picture…TCE

I have tons of Dr. Who on VHS, but have no idea how to get pic from the tape to you. I wonder if I could get a pic uploaded from DVD. Been meaning to get a few Dr. Who episodes on DVD anyway. I’ll ask Suburban Plankton if he has any ideas when he gets home.

Was it in the “Dr.Who Technical Manual”? I used to have a copy, but don’t know where it went.

If you’re talking about the one from about 20-25 years ago, no. They had a sonic screwdriver, but no TCE. Now if they published another, bigger one after that one, I wouldn’t know.
