The guy is an idiot. What he should have done was spend a little cash on a 2 gigabyte flash drive, then designate almost all of it the “privacy zone” with a password only he would know. Then, even if he’s dumb enough to leave the flash drive in the computer, it’s password protected.

Er … that’s how I hide my complete collection of Shakespeare’s sonnets from my wife.

I’ve always joked that pron is really what they invented TrueCrypt for.

Me, I too have a (rather large) folder foolproofily named “This is not porn” on the home server. AFAIK, my gf never went browsing through it on her own, but she knows it’s there. (How she cracked my code is beyond me.)
