Somehow I have been logged out of the Dope on my tablet. When I try to log back in, I’m given instructions to activate, verify, and then access my account. I never logged out so I don’t know what happened there. But I’m not giving my CC information to anyone. Why can’t I log back in?
Confused - where is it asking for your cc info, vs your sdmb account info?

That sounds really sketchy. Like a phishing scam with a SDMB lookalike login page. I just bought a new iPad and had to log in two days ago and encountered nothing like that.
I wonder if SDMB’s advertising broker got served a scam and is trolling for people who might not ask questions when presented with what looks like an online invoice.

Personally, I would PM the moderators about this, and give them the link that is asking for the personal info.
We never ask for CC information.
Your account shows as activated, so there’s no reason for you to re-activate it. If you logged out on your tablet, you should be asked for your login info, not CC info.

Except for @CC’s CC. We can’t see any of @CC’s CCs (or anyone else’s CCs for that matter).
