There’s different flavors of perky; there’s good perky (Zooey) and scary perky (Gazelle.com spokescutie). It’s an “eye of the beholder” thing.

But as I went through page after page and hadn’t heard of a single commercial, I realized that since I got a DVR a few years ago, I haven’t watched a single commercial. I suddenly feel like I’m missing part of my culture (such as it is).
Years ago there was an ad for Reese’s Puffs cereal with a kid and his older sister who worked as a waitress in a diner. I thoughts she was gorgeous.
I’m going with Katie Brown, the rock climber in the Citibank commercial. Apparently there’s no CGI magic involved, she’s really standing on top of the ten square foot tip of a several hundred foot high pinnacle. At that point, her hotness is really just the icing on the cake.

Brothers and sisters typically don’t stare at each other directly in the eyes while having a warm smile, standing there, not saying anything. Now, maybe it happens in real life, but on TV, it’s code for having a crush on someone.
And, yes, if my sister ever stared at me like that, no matter how long I’d been away, I’d be freaked out. If you do that in your family, fine, but it’s weird to me.
She is hot, though. I don’t know how much her googly eyes being made at the camera help that, though.

I disagree. Brothers & sisters may do it after not having seen one another in a long time and missing one another. Well, a brother and a sister, anyway. My baby sister reacted to my returning after a long absence that way, and trust me she has nothing resembling sexual designs on me.
She doesn’t seem especially hot to me, but it’s probably because she looks so young – sixteen or so.
I think CF is better looking than Hathaway, though she could do with a couple of cheeseburgers a week for a couple of months.
