Of course you don’t want them to be lawyers or brokers. Studying law means going to college, and then to law school, and then to a law firm. And every step of the way they’ll be expoosed to different cultures and different views of life, and more importantly, to different people that they’ll probably fall in love with. Hell, chances are that they’ll end up marrying some “outsider” and go live their own lives, and then the Family won’t see a penny of their haul. No, best to keep them close, and keep them ignorant.
Also, that childless white people hide in bushes to steal children from their parents.
And that if two heterosexual teenagers have sex, the parents or guardians of the boy should file rape charges against the girl before her parents can do the same, because the girl’s parents will ALWAYS do so.
Seriously, I think cult is just your way of trying to demonize any way of life different from your own. You want to know difference between a cult and a religion: tax exempt status. In a family unwanted children are threats and quite honestly anyone who would place their children ahead of their other relatives doesn’t understand the idea of family.
I can almost get behind this, I’ve seen it happen to a LOT of guys in Texas. They’d probably go ahead and charge both of the teens though, they love charging people.
You call every culture other than your own “disgusting”, and we’re demonizing YOU?
In my nephew’s case informing the police of the situation first was the key to a much easier investigation by the police. I don’t know about you, but I would perfer my 16-year old nephew not being hostilily interrogated.

For those that don’t believe me Texas will arrest and charge both underage parties, being within three years in age of each other is an affirmative defense at trial but you have still been arrested and charged. And they will do, they consider all underage sex de facto illegal. The USA is messed up!
I was referring specifically to your (Alessan) culture of baby worship and while I may think it’s disgusting, I am not trying outlaw it. You are perfectly free to believe babies are gods and value them before all other living beings. What you are not free to do is let this value system compromise the rights of others.
The nephew in question lived in Texas at the time, so you can imagine how concerned I was at the time (that and the fact that the girl sent him explicit messages on a cell phone owned by me). It was definitely CYA time.
The OP needs to do an “ask the Roma” thread…
Which would be different than this one because…?
No, the OP really doesn’t.
There are plenty of ZPG train-wrecks already clogging up the pipes.
I really don’t understand this. Alessan I believe lives in Israel, so are we talking about the jews worshipping babies or Americans worshiping babies or some kind of weird amalgam? This particular American doesn’t even like babies.
Anyways Jewish people don’t kidnap babies to raise them as their own. They kidnap babies and make them work for them on their holy day.
(I kid, I kid.)
Well, I guess it’s much easier to argue against a culture that you invented out of whole cloth just to argue against it.
Tsk tsk.
Screaming. Defying an adult. Being rebellious.
You weren’t a child, you were a monster. Your caregivers tolerated this shocking and horrible behavior, probably subjecting you to the defilement of unconditional love and ruining you forever.
Where was the discipline? Backtalk to an adult and no backhand to the face?
Tsk. What is the world coming to when the opinions of a 4-year-old girl are worth something to anyone?
It’s much more entertaining when you look at ZPG’s posts as parody. Although I guess they can be seen as offensive since they are so stereotypical.
Wait, what? Who is preventing your children from working legitimately?
It doesn’t matter - Israelis might very well be the biggest “child-worshipers” in the world. It’s something we’re quite proud of, actually.
They are definitely smelly and noisy.
I enjoy reading them aloud in the voice of Eleanor Abernathy.
