Seriously, I think cult is just your way of trying to demonize any way of life different from your own. You want to know difference between a cult and a religion: tax exempt status. In my nephew’s case informing the police of the situation first was the key to a much easier investigation by the police. I don’t know about you, but I would perfer my 16-year old nephew not being hostilily interrogated.

For those that don’t believe me Texas will arrest and charge both underage parties, being within three years in age of each other is an affirmative defense at trial but you have still been arrested and charged. And they will do, they consider all underage sex de facto illegal. The USA is messed up!

You are perfectly free to believe babies are gods and value them before all other living beings. What you are not free to do is let this value system compromise the rights of others.
The nephew in question lived in Texas at the time, so you can imagine how concerned I was at the time (that and the fact that the girl sent him explicit messages on a cell phone owned by me). It was definitely CYA time.
