I’m using three browsers - IE 5.0, Netscape 4.72, and Netscape 6 beta. The only browser I can view posts in is Netscape 6. The others display the thread titles, but when I click on one, all I get is a blank page. To make matters worse, I can’t submit posts with Netscape 6. So I have to copy the URL of the Reply/Post New Thread page to IE, then submit my post and go back to Netscape 6 to view the post.
What’s going on here?
The vB software should work in ALL those browsers, so something else is amiss.
What operating system are you using? Apparently vB is not compatible with anything pre-Win95 or before MacOS7.0.
It doesn’t work well with older versions of WindowsNT, either.
If you’re using “webwasher” software, it removes text as well as ads.
And finally, it’s apparently incompatible with any version of AOL prior to 4.0.
Let’s try to figure out what your problem is and if a fix is available. Remember this is new software and there’s bugs. But . . . I note it’s (as of this writing) 24 days without a system crash, so the news isn’t totally bad.
